CASHEW-GENERAL

    Cashews  have an edible,  fleshly fruit covering  which

can
 be  eaten raw without harm.   But between  the  outside

shell
and the kernel is a very irritating toxic oil  related

to
poison ivy, which must be removed or destroyed by heat.
