| Baker Plantation House - Pioneer Days It is a celebration of the many pioneers who traveled the Booneslick Road on their way to the Oregon migration or the California gold rush during the 1840's and 1850's. Many of these wagons stopped in Danville for the services of a wheelwright, blacksmith, post their mail and trade at the Baker Mercantile Store. Back to Events & Services Index
