Bio: After airline personnel school, Gerald and I decided to get married while he was in the Air Force. He was in the last draft in 1973. We moved to Mississippi, Colorado and New Mexico while he was in the Air Force. We moved back to Elizabethtown when he got out and he was hired at Ft. Knox at Range Division. He has been there since that time and recently has opened 2 new ranges for military training purposes. I began working in the medical field and loved the service to people and helping them get over illness. I went to work in ophthalmology and have been an office manager/administrator to physicians for the past 27 years. It has been a rewarding career with lots of travel and training along the way. I also found a love for mission work with the KY Baptist Convention and have made multiple medical team visits to Brazil, Russia and Poland. These have been such rewarding trips. Gerald and I have 2 children, Byron, who was a chemist on a nuclear submarine and now works as a firefighter at Ft Knox. Our daughter Ashley played basketball and put her way through college with sports. She now coaches with the Central Hardin Lady Bruins. Byron has now given us 2 grandchildren, Cade age 4 and Corynn 1 month old. God has blessed us in so many ways.
What I will always remember about High School: How totally blessed I have been to have gone to NHHS and have known all of you. Friends are so important to me. Teresa Wilkins Zryd and I had many fun days together and those are special times. I will always remember those fun times together and especially the basketball games and never missing a game.
Crazy things I did during High School: Wrote a controversial editorial and thinking I would get kicked out of school for it.
