When I saw the world as two things...
Black and white.
My friends and enemies.
When I thought all I needed
Was myself...
I have been wrong,
There is more to life than that...
There is You.
You are the person
Who brought the stars
Down from the heavens,
They sparkle with blues and whites,
Yellows and reds.
You caught a rainbow,
Tamed it and made it your own,
To show me,
So that I could grow.
I was a storm
Which people broke themselves upon.
You have calmed that storm,
Now I feel more like a spring breeze...
One that warms you with spring showers,
And in which butterflies swirl.

For calming my storm,
Bringing me the stars,
And giving me back my rainbows.
