The southern half is a grassy plain that runs to the mountain range called the Sasituit Mountains. Across the mountains the region turns rugged and barren then the land rises to a sloping icecap that covers the north half of the island.
Aboriginal tribes populate the southern plains. They are fair haired and light skinned. They are a warrior society with the females treated as almost slaves. The tribes are constantly at war with each other. This has driven the number of people down over the centuries to where there are barely 5000 left of all the tribes together.
Albinos populate the northern ice region. Opposite of their southern brethern they raise the woman above the men in their close-knit society. Though there might be different communities spread out over the region they consider themselves all one tribe. Fighting is non-exsistant and so their population has exploded to where the region is near the point of not being able to substain the nearly 1 million Thules.
Within the last 100 years the Thules have slowly spread to the south into the barren region near the Sasituit mountains and have mixed with the aborigines of the southern region. This has made a society that is more advanced than the two separate races. The albino gene is the most dominate of the mixed races and their society has adjusted to where the women are equal to the men. They are adventuresome and have built a thriving port community on the eastern coast of the Northlands Island. From there they travel the seas...
