About the program
In the past eight years, only twice has the baseball team at Florissant Valley not won more games than the year prior. Recent seasons have even seen the program in the NJCAA D-II national rankings. Coach Hillerman runs his program according to the following tenets:
- School is more important than baseball.
- Player development is of the utmost importance. We will continue to improve you as a player.
- We teach the game the same way it is taught at the highest levels.
- All players will be treated fairly.
- Placing you at a four-year school that is a good fit is part of the experience here.
Flo Valley competes in the MCCAC, one of the most competitive junior college conferences in the nation. In addition to Flo, the MCCAC includes Jefferson College, Mineral Area College, Three Rivers Community College, St. Charles Community College, Meramec Community College and Forest Park Community College. Of the schools, only Forest Park and Flo Valley are not NJCAA D-I.
Florissant Valley Community College is located in North St. Louis County, at I-270 & the Washington-Elizabeth exit. It is part of the larger St. Louis Community College system.
