Spencer RebirthThis family has been broken apart...can they come back together now?
|
After the revelation that Talon Travis was really Lance Talon Spencer, everyone in the family was thrown for a loop. To try and get to know Talon, Bobbie suggested a family dinner and made her calls, making sure all members of the Spencer family in Port Charles would be there. Talon and Sage were definately going, and once in his apartment discussed his new family. They also discussed their future together and decided to wait and have make love on their wedding night. They spent the night together in the same bed and woke up to reporters outside the window clamouring for the true story. Having dealt with reporters before, Sage told them to leave and ushered Talon back inside. He had a suprise for her...a whole new set of clothes! She got dressed and went to school to finish out the remaining time of her final year. Of course, she managed to get in a fight with both Javon and Serena, and ended up skipping out to see her uncle. Meanwhile, Talon went to work, mentioning to Mac that there was something fishy going on with the Roscoe murder case. |
Lucky and Elizabeth agreed to go to the dinner, as did Nikolas and Emily. They also agreed that if things got out of hand, they would bail out as fast as they could! Nikolas and Emily were getting ready to leave when they were called by Monica to the Quartermaine mansion so they promised they would get to the dinner as soon as they could. Lucky and Liz also decided to take baby Cameron with, and gave him a bath together. The attraction that was growing between was obvious but they both chose to ignore it. |
Meanwhile, Lulu was taking a page from her Aunt Bobbie's book and was calling everyone to make sure they were going to be there. She had just finished when she heard a noise. Scared, she made her way down to the hallway and opened to the door to find her mother Laura! Everyone thought she was in a mental institute, in a comatose state. Laura was happy to see her daughter but begged her not to tell anyone she was here. She had come to Port Charles for one reason - to stop Helena Cassadine from hurting her family anymore. When Bobbie came knocking on the door, Lulu agreed to hide her mother from her aunt. |
Bobbie had come to talk to Lulu about the family dinner. Lulu went along with the talk, doing anything to keep Bobbie from finding her mother but she couldn't succeed. Bobbie found Laura and was shocked to see her. She then expressed her happiness that she was back and could be a part of the family again. But Laura believed she couldn't do that. She was on a certain drug that she needed to find the antedote for, otherwise she would slip back into the coma. She couldn't rejoin her family only to have them lose her again if she didn't find it. Bobbie reminded her of her sons, but Laura would not budge. Finally, Bobbie told her about Talon, her third son, and how he came to be. At first, Laura didn't believe it but then she realized Helena was that twisted. This only fueled her need to take Helena down. |
Lucky and Liz finally decided to discuss their feelings. It was obvious they both cared for one another and it was obvious that there was an attraction there. They gave in...and kissed. It was just like old times. The passion was still there. They made the decision to give their relationship another chance. Together with Cameron they went to the Spencer dinner. Lucky wasn't long telling everyone that he and Elizabeth were together again! |
Despite her reluctance to come, Laura decided to make an appearance at the family dinner. She called Lulu to let her in the back door as she didn't want to make a fuss. But as soon as she was in, she was spotted by Talon who had no idea he was looking at his mother. It wasn't until Lucky laid eyes on her that everything fell into place. He was overjoyed, and overcome with tears to see his mother. Elizabeth quickly embraced Laura, and Talon realized that this was his mother. He too was overcome but Laura was very suspicious. She wanted to get to know him better before she decided to trust him. |
Meanwhile, Sage was talking with Bobbie in the living room. The older woman had just found out about her engagement to the newest Spencer. Bobbie told her that if Talon was like the rest of the Spencer men, he would love deeply and forever. Lucas and Serena showed up and Serena quietly pleaded for a temporary peace with Sage, not wanting to ruin this night for Talon and Lucas. Sage had already made up her mind not to bother Serena anymore anyway...she was past that. Sage was setting the table when a knock came to the door. It was Helena...and she taunted Sage, asking her if she wanted to help Talon fill in one more missing piece. Sage retorted that Talon had had enough for one night and told her leave. When the door was slammed in her face, Helena got angry and threw a brick through the window! Bobbie was less than impressed but chose to ignore Helena, and ushered everyone to the table for a long overdo family dinner. |
The dinner was going well with Lucky and Lulu happily welcoming home their mother. However, Talon was not fitting in as easy. After Sage had to leave to be with her uncle in the hospital, Talon tried to connect with his mother. She, on the other hand, was not as open to trying to get to know Talon. She believed that Talon was still under Helena's control. Upset, Talon left. Soon after the dinner broke up. With Laura and Bobbie in the kitchen, Lucky and Lulu talked about what had to be done. They needed to find Luke to let him know that his wife was still alive. Before they could talk further, Lulu got a phone call from Dillon. He needed her at the hospital. |
In the kitchen, Laura decided to confess everything to Bobbie. Her condition was caused by a drug that Helena had given her. She needed to get the antidote from the vile witch. And she also wanted to kill Helena. Bobbie tried to talk her down but Laura refused to listen - she wanted Helena out of the Spencer's lives for good! Bobbie finally convinced her to call Luke, and even dialed the number, relieved to finally have gotten in contact with her brother. She handed the phone to Laura, who knocked Luke for a loop when he realized she was alive. Bobbie let the soulmates talk, using the time to call her daughter and talk. |
Everyone had been wondering just where the patriach of the Spencer family was. He hadn't shown for the family dinner...and he had good reason. He had been approached by Helena Cassadine who issued an ultimatium...marry her or she would "flip the switch" on Talon, releasing him on Port Charles. Not wanting his family to get hurt, Luke finally did something selfless and married the widow Cassadine. However, he was not happy. By the time they were heading to Bobbie's to tell everyone, he was more than a little drunk. The phone call from Laura sent him into a rage against Helena. He was now married to a woman he hated just as the woman he loved revealed she was fine. |
Helena wrestled Luke off and made her grand entrance into the Spencer home, announcing she was now the wife of Luke. Laura immediately reacted, and the two women got into a physical brawl with Bobbie desperately trying to tear them apart. In the end, the two were in a standoff - each having a gun. Luke made his entrance, tipsy, and told them that no one was going to shed blood in the Spencer house! He got rid of Helena and he and Laura immediately were in each others arms. They vowed to fight Helena, even if it meant that Luke had to stayed married to Helena in order to do so. He would get Laura the antedote. She decided to track down their son, Talon, and apologize for brushing him off at the family dinner. |
Laura found Talon and they had their first real serious talk. She apologized for her harsh treatment of him and explained that after years of abuse at the hands of Helena, it was only a natural reaction of hers to assume the worst. Talon pointed out that she wasn't the only one who had been tortured. The two seem to reach a common ground - bonding over their hatred for Helena Cassadine. Laura wanted Talon to know that Luke was now married to the woman who had caused them both pain. Talon was confused, wanting to know he would do something like that. She doesn't not to share the real reason - that she was afraid would set Talon off. Instead she explained that Luke needed to get close to get her the medication she needed to stay well. |
Talon was about to discover just how much of a Spencer he really was - he already knew something was up. He left his mother and moved on to Luke hoping to get the truth. Luke straight out told Talon that this was his fight and his fight alone with Helena. He wanted his son to stay out of it. Before he could get a straight answer, V and Robert showed up. Although momentarily stunned, Luke welcomed his old friend with open arms. The two were soon ribbing each other, causing V and Talon to both leave to give them some time alone. Laura showed up and the three were about to get down to business about Helena when the phone rang - it was Lucky telling them Elizabeth was missing. |
After Frisco left Georgie's room, he was weary. He had just arrived in town, had a screaming match with Felicia and found out his youngest daughter was hurt. He was looking for a break and found it when he ran into Bobbie. She and he ended up going to Kelly's and just talking. Bobbie proved once again that she can be a good listener and tried to help Frisco understand that it might take time for his family to get used to him being in Port Charles again. He was glad to finally have a few moments of peace and agreed to meet Bobbie again some time. |
