There are so many things I want to say,
And I don't know where to start.
I wish I could have said everything
Before we drifted apart.
We went through love and loss together,
Showed each other how to be strong.
Always encouraging words for each other,
Even when things went all wrong.
You gave me new meaning to life,
As no one else had before.
Please believe me, when I say
It was you I did adore.
I often wondered what life would be like
If you ever started to let me go.
Slowly I'm coming to realize
And soon I am sure I will know.
