Biography
James Andrew Eric Phelps and Oliver Martyn John Phelps were born on February 25, 1986 in the United Kingdom. That makes them sixteen years old right now. Both have shown a special interest in acting as they performed side by side in several high school drama productions at Sutton Coldfield's Arthur Terry School. They enjoy a good game of golf and a game or two on their Playstation, and somewhat recently purchased, X box. They have two bearded collies, one named Ewen and the other Rupert, and enjoy music such as Bon Jovi, Red Hot Chili Peppers, and Queens. They love sports too and keep up with their favorite semi-local soccer teams - Oliver's a fan of Aston Villa, the rival team of James's favorite, Blues. They are currently attending Arthur Terry School for the first year of 6th form, where they will remain until filming for Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban begins in 2003. For all those girls who want a tall man, you've found two of 'em! These boys measure in at 6'1!.

We know your twins but, who is older? James: I'm the younger brother. Oliver: Our birthday is the 25th of February and I'm older by about 13 minutes!
Do you have the internet at home? James: yep, we use it all the time; it helps with the home work of course.
What's your favourite web site? James: It has to be www.cowfighter.com, my top score is 9200 and my favourite move has to be the udder uzzi! Check it out on the links page, its great fun. Oliver: www.nick.com, it's got loads of cool games and things to do, plus it's really interactive and easy to use, find the link in the 'cool links' section.
What's your favourite film so far this year? Oliver: The Mummy Returns, it's got fantastic computer effects, you must go and see it. James: Pearl Harbour, it's just such a fantastic film, much better than the Mummy!
You obviously don't have much time spared, but do you have any favourite sports? Oliver: Maybe I should be a doctor... but golf is my favourite sport, my handicaps 20. James: Yep, me too, I suppose I should be a lawyer as my handicaps 22.
With so many to choose from, who is your favourite pro golfer? (And not... Tiger Woods!) James: Ummm, Sergio Garcia. Oliver: It would have to be Nick Faldo.
So, did do enjoy making the first Harry Potter movie? James: It was a once in a life time experience, to see how it's created. Oliver: Working along side such big name actors was fantastic; it hasn't really sunk in yet.
Can you tell us anymore about the movie yet? Oliver: No, not until it's released, I want don't want to spoil the magic! James: We'll just have to keep you in suspense!
I assume you've read all of the HP books, which is your favourite? Oliver: Book 4, Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire. James: Book 3, Harry Potter and the prisoner of Azkaban.
Any other hobbies other than golf? Oliver: Play station, we both spend hours playing, they're so addictive. James: We just got the new Play station 2, our favourite game is SSX.
So finally what's your ambition for the future? Oliver: To be a well known actor... (Could you a HP movie role?) James: I'd love to play a James Bond bad guy, or just James bond...
