I looked upon the mountain and saw Your majesty
I looked into the sky and saw a heavenly canopy
I looked across a rainbow, saw the promise from above
I looked upon the cross and saw Your love

All I have, all I thought that I wanted or needed
Now mean nothing at all
Since I saw how You gave all Your love

I walked along the shoreline, You walked upon the sea
I reached to take Your hand and saw the ocean under me
I saw the world through Your eyes.  I saw Your kingdom come
I watched You give your life and saw Your love

When I jumped in a lake and had broken my neck
It made myself wonder just what I had left
For my arms couldn’t reach and my legs failed to walk
But my mind was still thinking.  My tongue could still talk.

As my soul went on searching, my heart would still yearn
For someone to love who’d love me in return
For what else could there be on the face of the earth
But Love that would prove there’s a reason for birth

So I prayed to my God using all of my faith
And wondered how long He would cause me to wait
Till He’d show me the woman who’d make me complete
Who’d see that His love is still living in me

When I heard your soft voice in a telephone call
My heart began beating like a big basketball
And without even seeing your angelic face
I knew I was speaking to one filled with grace

The more that we talked, you began to see, too
That there was a reason God brought me to you
And somehow you sensed that, if given a chance,
I’d fill your whole heart with sincere sweet romance

You found that mere movement does not make a man
But look deep inside and you’ll see who I am
The moment you did and then gave me your love
 I learned what God’s vision for happiness was

So, now when you hold me you feel my embrace
And with music our hearts dance all over the place
That’s why I believe for I know that it’s true
The heaven’s are filled with angels like you

For the countless sins I've done
God the Father sent a Saviour
As He sacrificed His Son

He held my soul within His left hand
In His right, all I transgressed
Then He pulled them each apart
As far as East is from the West

Staring death between the eyes
He clutched corruption for my sake
Squeezed its power till it died

The storm began with sounds of distant thunder
Then rain came splashing down from flashing skies
As our ship was tossed by wind and waves You slumbered
I knew for sure that soon we all would die

Then You awoke with words of peace and waved Your hand
And the mighty storm was stilled at Your command

The blinded man just sat outside the city
The rusted cup was empty in his hands
For the people passing by just gave him pity
He cried because he did not understand
