With the person I saw
But I wasn’t really
In love with you at all
I was in love with the talent
That you displayed
I was in love with your voice
And the album you made
I was in love with the lyrics
You wrote for your songs
I was in love with your music
I could listen all day long
I was in love with the creativity
And passion you play
I thought I loved you
In every way
But now I’ve finally got the wisdom
To accept what I know is true
I was in love with your talent
Not with you.
