I tried to write a poem, And I tried to make it rhyme. I thought it was easy, Because people do it all the time. But when I sat down With my paper and my pen. I had to scratch the words out, And try it all again. So I tried to write another one, And I tried to make IT rhyme. But when I read it over, I wondered... “What went wrong this time?” I tried to write a poem, And it took me all night. Well, here’s the finished product... Did I do it right?
