~Caleb's Story~

Caleb Aaron Hibbard

June 13,1995 to July 19,1995

Caleb Aaron Hibbard was born to Jenny Hibbard on July 13th at 12:20 pm in Sedalia Mo. He weighed 8 pds 7.4 oz and was 19 3/4 inchs. He had beautiful reddish blonde hair and sparkling blue eyes.Caleb was very alert and had his own personality.

Doctors would soon discover that Caleb had a heart murmur, doctors then made an appointment for Caleb to have an echo done at a better equipped hospital. This was to take only an hour or two, but quickly turned into a weekend at this hospital.

This doctor sent Caleb to another specialist where he would have a open heart surgery. It was determined that Caleb had Variation of Hypoplastic Left Heart Syndrom.Being one month old Caleb would undergo this surgery in which Little Caleb did not make it through.Caleb was a strong little fellow that held on for as long as he could, but this day Caleb became an angel. This day was July 19th at 6:40 pm.

Little Caleb was layed to rest on July 25th,1995.The thing Mommy remembers about Calebs Birth was his brother Bryan holding him, the thing remembered about Calebs death is mommy holding onto you. Caleb was a brave little guy whose courage was amazing, he brought great happiness to many people and for that caleb shall always remain in our hearts.
