Barnett Rufus Pulliam
Obit, Prospect News, dated 10 NOV 1904:
"Barney Pulliam, Sr., of the Johnston Chapel area, died Thursday night, 3 Nov, at his home on Dry Creek - age 83 years. Came here with parents from NC when quite young. Married first time 60 years ago - from two wives had a total of 14 children, all of whom grew up - 12 still alive. All married except youngest son, Ben, who took care of him the past five years. He was the last charter member of Johnston's Chapel ME Church and was also a trustee. Buried last Friday in Johnston's Chapel Cemetery with service by a grandson, Rev. John Cox."
