-Tulsa is the second largest city in Oklahoma next to Oklahoma City
- Tulsa is located on the Arkansas River
- It was once known as the Oil capital of the world b/c of it's large supply of oil reserves during the 1920's
- The city covers over 6 counties surounding Tulsa's metropolitan area, including Tulsa County itself

-Tulsan's are proud of their heritage and show it with the famous driller statue downtown
Walker Hanson once worked for a major oil company in Tulsa called "Heinrich & Payne"
