Lyrically Challenged?
It's often ironic how we can read into
the lyrics of Hanson's songs and find strange
(often stupid) things they say in them.
Take a look and see what I mean:

First off let me ask. (1) Where they having problems with their toilets backing up when they recorded (the beginning) of this song?
and (2)If they're thinking of this person so much, wouldn't that be a little obsessive?

If they cry ever time the girl cries, then they'd be dehydrated. Right?
3. Thinking of You:
Is it just me or does this song have the
undertones of a manic/depressive state? Highs and Lows?
4. River:
If he doesn't know who he is, then that would be an identity disorder...
5. MMMBOP:
Where the crap did they come up with the chorus of this song?
6. Soldier:
Couldn't you just see this song performed as a broadway musical? Breaking into song and dance would be fun.
7. Stories:
"Stories will be told" (Lying is a bad thing to teach your children tsk..tsk..tsk..)
8. Pictures:
Yet another hopeless cry for help. Their hellucinating and talking to themselves.
9. Sometimes:
Just another man wanting to rule a relationship..Yet another contender of a broadway musicals. Except without the sha, na, na, na's.
10. With you in your Dreams:
(I honesly have nothing sarcastic to say about this song.)

1. Thinking of You:
Yet another sad case of manic/depression..Certainly
their parents would have gotten them help by now.
2. MMMBOP:
It's that MMMBOP thing again..and we still don't know what the crap it is talking about
3. Weird:
Is anyone even listening to this boy? It seems like he's talking to himself, yet again.
4. Speechless:
Did it ever occur to him that she may have larengitus?.
5. Where's the Love:
Break up with the girl for crying out loud! She obviously doesn't love you anymore, so get over it!
6. Yearbook:
Why is he talking about yearbooks, when he's homeschooled?.(does anyone know what the point of this song is?)..It's another plea of insanity, hearing voices?..
7. Look At You:
He's a stalker so she better be careful. Raves are illegal.
8. Lucy:
Doesn't he sound so cute in this song?..
9. I will come to you:
That's not humanly possible to hear someone's spirit calling...
10. Minute without you:
These boys like their obssessions don't they? There are 24 hours in a day...They obviously don't know how to tell time.
11. Madeline:
Wouldn't you get dizzy going round-and-round? Hope they can stand each other's throw-up.
12. With you in your Dreams:

This is proof that they need help...Especially the youngest one. Somebody call the paddy-wagon.
This Time Around
1. You never know:
She'd better get out of there cause he has a gun.
What won't she ever know? Does anyone understand?
2. If Only:
He doesn't have any guts? That'd be kinda gross wouldn't it? What if she wants him to go? She'll just have to throw him out:D
3. This Time Around:
The first part of this song reminds me of that jewish girl Anne Frank. (She hid in the attic of these peoples house in Holland in WWII, then she died at a concentration camp.):( It's good to fight for what you believe in. Kinda sounds patriotic like for 9/11.
4. Run Away Run:
Running away is very bad (unless of course it's for your own safety). He's obssessed with the girl:)
5. Save Me:
I didn't know he was in danger. Those pesky fans running up on stage again?..tsk, tsk, tsk
6. Dying to be Alive:
Another inspirational song about fighting for what you believe in and going after what you want. Could be patriotic. The choir is very cool:D
7. Can't Stop:
Another exclamation of undying love, yet seemingly obssessive. Should see a doctor quickly.
8. Wish that I was There:
Well why doesn't he just go there, instead of just talking about it? Geez..
9. Love Song:
This song is one of my fav's cause of the cool way the music flows together. It's very depressing though if you really listen to it, somebody help this child:(
9. Sure About It:
What exactly is he sure about? References to drugs could get them into trouble:(
10. Hand in Hand (with another man):
Yet another song, I don't quite understand. Could someone fill me in?
11. In the City:
Natalie better watch out, Tay's gonna be over possessive(J/K). Is is just me or do you think the 'city' they are talking about is New York? Can't you just imagine it?
12. Song to Sing:
Is it just me or does this song remind you of that Steve Martin movie 'The Jerk'? (At the last part, he's homeless and is sitting by the road with must his thermus and his dog cause people keep taking his stuff.
"All I need...all I need is my thermus and my dog..."
