Nothing Matters

Your eyes seem to flare, your words rip through my skin.
My body trembling my heart aching.
Will there ever be an end. Will I ever be enough.
Do you have to be so tough.
Im in the corner affraid, its dark.
Your words slice through me,
your eyes they burn me.
If only looks could kill.
Taking my life.......
Like it would make a difference.
Leaving you.... You would never learn.
A gentle touch a warm embrace,
Romance, things I yearn.
Things you could never understand.
Feeling alone, bared a child,
scorned,a night stand????
But yet your here. I see you sitting there.....
Cold distant, a wrongful demand?
To want you to embrace me,
to love me, to understand?
An hourglass, waiting for the sand to settle.
Im sorry , I didnt mean to mettle.
I look at you , I see rage, blackness,cold.
I never will be enough?
Who was I to think it such?
Tattered, torn, and affraid....
My heart today.... But any way.. Nothing matters.
