Rainy Days
From my window I watch the rain
As it washes clean the air
Gentle tinkling silver drops
Are falling everywhere.
Thunder rolls and lightning strikes
Do not frighten me
For I am safe inside my nest
Where I can safely see.
Tomorrow will be sunny
But today enjoy the showers
For tomorrow will be soon enough
To smell the lovely flowers.
