The history of violence and the bloody sacrifices perpetrated by the Mayan rulers at the height of their society .. is not what the Mayan Ancestors are about. In fact, it was this very violence that led to the downfall of the Mayan Civilization. Their downfall was caused by the Ancestors themselves. Their people had been led astray, down the wrong path. So, they ended it. But with hope that it will one day, be built anew
