Foreword...                                                                                   Mei 1st, 2003

Painting, this is my hobby, something I enjoy doing in my free time. Already for a long time, started when I was a little girl. But I actually never followed a study, all that I learned is from books and especially form my own experiences as a painter. I bought a lot of books, reed everything about the world of paintings. Start to learn this way rules of painting. First I worked with pencil, later with oil-paint. I must say this hobby helped me a lot with performing my profession as a landscape architect. You need a good overview as a architect, I had that in me thanks to my hobby. I manage to do both together with a lot of pleasure.

In early 80's I was excepted in to visual arts club of the Ministry of Culture as a member, after they screened all my work. From 1984 I participated mixed galleries with other artists. Later I worked for a while as a painter, I developed here more technique, I become better and better. I enjoy whatever I do, therefore my progress was quicker that I thought it would be.

I never had proper places for painting tough, I painted wherever I could and whenever I could.. mostly in my room at nights. I have good eyes for this and a good imagination. Two things you need before you start a painting. I first put everything together in my mind, than start painting. Translating this on paper, that is de easy part. I paint horses and human figures.. I like panting this subjects, and I paint them in a surrealistic way but I find classic style better fits in my world.

Here some examples from my paintings, have a look and enjoy...
