History: Usagi is the main character of Sailor Moon. She is a ditzy, whiny, yet lovable girl. She gets more and more mature as the seasons progress. She is the leader of the Senshi (although her personality isn't matched to being a leader), and was the first one to appear (duh). (Sailor Venus is the leader in the manga though.) She attends Juuban Junior High with Ami and Makoto. In the Stars series, she goes to Juuban High School where she attends with Minako as well. Usagi's best non-senshi friend is Naru. Usagi was the object of infatuation by Umino and many others. (Both who sort of fade into the back after a few seasons.)
In her past life, she was Princess Serenity of the Moon Kingdom, in love with the prince from Earth, Prince Endymion. Queen Beryl, under the control of Queen Metallia, destroyed the Moon Kingdom. Queen Serenity, Princess Serenity's mother, gathered her last bit of strength to send her daughter and the Sailor Senshi to Earth to be reincarnated and start a new life. Queen Serenity's cats Luna and Artemis were also reincarnated on Earth. Luna found Usagi and awakened her, and Artemis found Minako.
On earth, Prince Endymion is Mamoru. In the first series, he always teases her about her bad test grades and calls her Odango Atama (rice ball head) because of her hairstyle. Usagi falls in love with Tuxedo Kamen, the man who always comes to her rescue when she's fighting the youma (demons). Eventually, they both realize their past lives as lovers and fall in love all over again. Their future daughter is Chibi-Usa. In the 30th century, Usagi is the queen of Crystal Tokyo -- Neo-Queen Serenity.
