History: Haruka first appeared in SMS. She is a wild, brash, sarcastic girl. She dresses like a boy, acts like a boy, talks like a boy, and even looks like a handsome young man. Haruka is an expert at driving cars and motorcycles, and is very wealthy. She also plays the piano very well. She loves to tease Usagi and the rest of the Senshi for falling in love with her when they first met her, thinking she was a cute and way gool guy (and some senshi fell in love with her even finding out that she was female). As a Sailor Senshi, Uranus is one of those who like to get the job done. Unlike the five Inner Senshi, Uranus' mission wasn't to guard the Moon Princess but to guard the Moon Kingdom. Uranus is extremely dedicated and would sacrifice her partner/lover (Sailor Neptune) if necessary. However, when she was first confronted with the fact that she was a Sailor Senshi by Neptune, she refused to believe it, but that changed.
Is Haruka lesbian? I don't know. I was told a long time ago that Haruka was a girl with her dead brother's spirit inside of her, and that was the reason why she was so much like a boy. I don't know if that's true though. It might only be true in the manga.
