My name is Brandy and this is my first attempt at having a web site. I love to listen to music and to make it. I read all the time and one of my favorite authors is Mary Z. Bradley. My favorite cd (of those I did not make myself) is Godsmack's first album. You can view my favorite bands on my music page.
As you have already gathered I am a wrestling fan. I grew up watching Hulk Hogan and "macho man" Randy Savage as a child. I used to run around the house talking about the nature boy even before I started school. Wrestling had its 'second wind' when I was only 15. That was perfect timing. I watched Kevin Nash and Scott Hall form the nWo on National tv and watched as a constant fan favorite, Hulk Hogan turned heel. In 1996, I begin to watch every show WCW had and I taped over 90% of them. Those tapes were lost in an unfortunate accident so now only ten remain. I enjoyed watching Raven come from ECW and create a "Flock" with Saturn (from ECW), Dancing Stevie Richards (From ECW),Scotty Riggs, Lodi (new to WCW), Hammer (getting a second wind), Sick Boy ( new to WCW), Billy Kidman (new to WCW), along with a few other members that didn't stay long. I actually attended the Memphis Nitro when Mark "Van Hammer" Hildreth made his debut with the Flock. I enjoyed tag teams such as Rocco Rock (rip) and Johhny Grunge, Harlem Heat, and of course the Outsiders. I loved seeing Ric Flair and Roddy Piper team up to try and get rid of Hall, Syxx, and Nash. Why in the world they got Kevin Greene to help I will never know.
The nWo was in full swing as I turned 16. My best friend (my sister)Cara and I went to every show close to us. We also went to see our friend Matt Howard wrestle in New Bethel and attended a wrestling show at Bradshaw High School where we met Hector Guerror and Kid Kash (NWA). We watched Kevin Nash and Scott Hall become the most talked about wrestlers in the business. The nWo seemed to be taking over the world. Unfortunately the nWo had to split and we had the nWo red and black, nWo wolfpac and Hollywood Hogan's black and white nWo. All this started happening during my senior year in high school...I quit watching...times kept moving...WCW was sold to WWE.
I am still an avid wrestling fan. I watch Raw every Monday night and sometimes catch Smackdown on Thursday nights. I have ran into a problem with watching NWA's Total Nonstop Action. It seems that their shows do not come on here except on pay per view. For just $5 more than the ppv, I can drive up to Nashville and sit ringside. I can get right in the action there! The fun and games of going to live wrestling shows will slow down in August when I start a grueling final term at UNA. I am working on an accounting degree.
Career wise I hope to be out of school by December. I will start looking for work in either Decatur or Nashville or anywhere I can. I want to meet Raven again. I want to see my sister again as soon as possible (she moved to Colorado). I hope this website continues to get better and better in thr future.
