Nitro at the Pyramid in Memphis, TN

I know that these pictures are not very good but this was my first live wrestling event. Our seats were this bad and digital cameras were not very popular then. I think I was a junior in high school at this event. It was some time in 1998 I think.

The first picture is at the beginning of the show where the nWo has just come out. Kevin Nash was pushed to the ring in a wheelchair. They are about to sing "O Canada" in tribute to the coming of Bret Hart to WCW. Actually Curt Hennig does a pretty good job of singing! Notice Scott Hall facing us. You can also catch a quick glimpse of Doug D. the head of security back then! Syxx and Vincent and Hogan are out there too.


Here is a pretty bad picture of Saturn fighting Chris Benoit. The rest of Raven's flock is looking on . This was actually the first night that Mark Hildreth came out as Hammer. The entire flock walked through the crowd just a few feet from us. Cara and I were unable to get to them. IF you look really hard you can see Sick Boy (Scott Vick) sitting just behind Raven. The ref in this match looks like Randy "Pee Wee" Anderson, who unfortunately has passed away after a battle with cancer.




Here is another picture of the flock. Raven is walking around in the ring, ready to do anothing one of his spills. His speeches were always so nice to hear, because they made since. He is so intellegent! Saturn is also stalking around the ring with his hood on!
