Love
Back to Dragon Child
Love, what a word to think about,
What a word we cannot live without.
Love, an emotion we keep aware,
A sentiment we also happen to fear.
Love, such a powerful game to play with,
It takes small pieces of us bit by bit.
The whisper in my ear when I hear you speak,
Saying to me thing that would make me weak.
The words are so strong I fall deep within,
It poisons my soul through thick and thin.
The voice murmuring like a ballad of melody,
Engraves the sweet sound in my memory.
The sensation of being captured by love,
Has so many delicate substances made of.
The mood it brings me cannot be wrong,
If day-by-day, my world becomes strong.
The impression it leaves me with is eternal,
I feel like being touched by something magical.
The game I play can be a treacherous game,
Which may have a prize in the end of fame.
The world I am in is not as easy as it seem,
It’s not a place where things happen as I dream.
The point to see is the worth for the sake of harm,
I must know how to handle someone else’s charm.
Love is a complicated feeling with a simple touch,
No words to explain this, there’s no meaning of such.
We loose ourselves thinking of the significance of love,
But it’s a desire that all of us are given from above.
Love has our hearts, our minds, our souls in every way,
It affects us for the best reasons as we live each day.
