A Sorceress' Trick...Or Treat

Her eyes were dark, lit eerily every now and again when the lightning from just outside the hotel flashed. The small blade in her hand gleamed dangerously, the tip cutting just barely into her pale flesh. Tiny red drops fell from her self-inflicted wound, onto a paper with numerous archaic designs drawn upon it. She grinned maliciously, lightning lighting up her evil eyes once more.

"You will fall in love, Squall Leonhart. You will fall in love with the one who loves you the truest." Rinoa Heartilly incanted, drawing some form with the bloodied athame.

"The one who loves you truest…"

Birds chirped noisily outside Squall’s window. The silent gunblade specialist peeked his eyes open slightly, glaring at the sunbathed window, unable to see past the gilded pane. A sudden knock on the door further annoyed the SeeD captain, forcing him to fully awaken. Clearing his throat, sitting up, he beckoned for whomever it was to enter.

"Good morning, Squall," Rinoa said cheerfully, bouncing into the room. Squall rolled his eyes, cracking his knuckles. Rinoa smiled at him, handing him a glass of water. "It's time to get up, sleepy head! Everyone else is already awake." She said, leaning against his bedpost.

Squall slowly sipped the water, first smelling it for poison. This Rinoa girl seemed harmless enough at first glance, but she had been in league with Seifer at first, making her subject to suspicion at any time. The water didn't seem to have been tampered with, so he took larger gulps. He reached for a white tank top, covering his bare chest (bare, with the exception of the ever present Griever necklace, of course). Setting the empty glass down on the end table next to his bed, he glared up at Rinoa.

"Where is everyone?" He asked in his usual monotone. Rinoa's cheery expression was soured with a small scowl, but that faded quickly back into her too sweet smile.

"Quisty and Selphie went into town, and they dragged Irvine with them. I don't know where Zell got himself off to." She said, waving her hand. Squall's eyes brightened a little at that.

'If Zell's not in town, he might be able to save me from this woman's ramblings. Please, if there is a god, let Zell still be here...' Squall silently pleaded, glancing from Rinoa to the door.

"Find Zell and bring him here. I need to talk to him." He ordered. Rinoa pouted.

"But, Squall, why do you need him? I'm right here." She whined. Squall glared at her.

"I need a SeeD. He'll do, if everyone else is out." He stated flatly. Rinoa frowned, turning on her heel sadly, walking out.

'That doesn’t make sense...he should have been throwing himself at me. Did I screw up that spell?' She thought, walking down the hall, not even noticing Zell coming towards her.

"'Morning, Rinoa. Have you seen Squall?" Zell asked pleasantly. Rinoa scowled. She stopped abruptly in her tracks, glaring at Zell.

"He's in his room. He just woke up, so he's a little grumpy." She ground out, folding her arms in front of her chest. Zell blinked, grimacing.

"Gotcha. I'll be quick, then. See ya around!" He said, waving as he walked past towards Squall’s room.

Feeling just a little too comfortable, Squall was very hesitant to leave his bed. Shutting the blinds, plunging his room back into semi-darkness, he cuddled back into his comforter, his mind set on going back to sleep. He would have, too, if there hadn't been another knock on his door.

"I'm getting an alarm installed on that damn door…just before anyone gets to it, they're warned about possible harm coming to them." Squall muttered. Running his hand through his unkempt hair, he sat up again, once more beckoning for whomever was at his door to enter.

"Squall? You decent?" Zell’s muffled voice asked through the tiny crack he opened in the door. It took quite a bit of self-control for Squall to keep from laughing at that. What the hell would be considered 'indecent'?

"Yeah, Zell. Come in." Squall said, trying hard to keep his smile down. It was hard to explain, but the little blonde martial artist always brought unbidden happiness to him. It wasn't unpleasant.

Zell slowly opened Squall's door, peeking his head in first. Seeing that his captain was fully awake, if not still a little disheveled, Zell grinned. He stepped inside, closing the door behind him.

"Sorry if I'm buggin' you, Cap'n. I just thought you should be the first to know that Headmaster Cid sent us a personal message this morning. Basically it was just a 'hope you do well, don't let me down' kinda thing, but it was still nice of him. I got it right here if you wanna read it yourself," Zell said, reaching into his shirt pocket. Squall watched Zell's hand disappear into the pocket, fishing out a folded piece of paper, the Balamb Garden seal obvious on the back. His gray eyes were locked onto Zell's well-muscled chest, his heartbeat quickening.

"Zell, come here." Squall commanded. Zell's hand stopped mid-pass, his expression confused.

"Something wrong, Squall?" Zell asked hesitantly, approaching slowly. He kept glancing at himself, searching for something out of the ordinary. He was wearing his pants, he didn't have some monstrous growth on any part of himself, it seemed like everything was in order. He stopped just in front of the bed, still curious as to what the hell was the matter.

"Lean down, Zell." Squall said, almost breathlessly. Zell blinked, leaning down, wondering why Squall was acting so funny. Before he could ask, however, Squall crushed his lips to his. Zell's eyes went wide, and he tried to back off. Squall wrapped his fingers in Zell's blonde spikes, however, refusing to let him move.

The kiss lasted maybe a few minutes, until Squall himself couldn’t keep going without breathing. He broke the kiss, but he refused to remove his hand, keeping Zell's face firmly placed just in front of his. Zell kept blinking, too shocked to say anything. His curiosity won out, though, and his voice finally decided to cooperate.

"Squall…what the hell was that?!?" Zell asked loudly. Squall thought a moment, trying to figure out how to answer him.

"I thought that was obvious, Zell." Squall stated simply. Zell rolled his eyes.

"The obvious part was that you kissed me. What I want to know is why the hell you did it!" Zell was starting to have a problem keeping his balance in such an awkward position, but Squall still wouldn’t let his head go. Sighing, he conceded to the only option; he leaned over more, placing one hand on the bed (the one still holding the note from the Headmaster), the other on one of Squall's knees. Squall took a sharp intake of breath at the contact, pulling Zell towards him again. Zell was more than just confused now as he, once again, fell victim to Squall's firm lips, this time with his added probing tongue.

Squall breathed into Zell's opening mouth, tracing the blonde's lower teeth with his tongue. Zell, though still flabbergasted, was enjoying this attention quite a bit and decided not to look a gift horse in the mouth. He kissed back with as much passion as he could, the hand he was using to steady himself on the bed moved to Squall's chest. Squall grunted, and using his other hand, pulled Zell into bed with him.

"Squall!" Zell squeaked around Squall's lips, falling into his captain's lap. Squall knocked the note from Cid out of Zell's hand and onto the floor, pulling off Zell's shirt as well. His hands worked fast, and before Zell knew it, he was also without shorts. "Squall, what are you—?!" Zell started, until Squall squeezed Zell's length through his boxers. Zell groaned, his face flushing.

"Quiet, Zell, or I'll find something better for your mouth to do." Squall muttered, deepening the kiss, reaching his hand inside Zell's boxers. Zell arched his neck back, unwittingly breaking the kiss, letting a long moan escape his lips. Squall took the opportunity to trace the tribal tattoo on the side of Zell's face with his tongue, causing the little blonde to gasp.

"Fuck, Squall, that feels so good..." Zell moaned. Squall grinned wolfishly, shocking Zell. Zell had not once seen Squall smile, and that grin was absolutely drop dead sexy. Squall squeezed Zell again, making him arch back, squirming in Squall's lap. Squall leaned down over Zell, nipping at his earlobe.

"Damn, Zell, you're so fucking hard. You want me to get you off, don't you?" Squall breathed huskily. Zell whimpered, nodding his head. Squall wrenched Zell's boxers lower, gripping Zell's hardness, pumping him. Zell was trying to breath evenly, but the feeling of Squall's hand was almost too much for him.

As his climax was coming upon him quickly, Zell felt he needed to brace himself somehow. He finally let go of Squall's knee, grabbing onto the back of his neck instead. He wanted to warn Squall, to somehow tell him that he was going to come soon and that there'd be a mess, but his voice was lost again. Squall continued to pump him, and Zell couldn't help but buck against his hand. Squall crushed his lips to Zell's again, pressing his fingers into certain spots, certain pressure points, and before long, Zell was shooting.

Moments later, both young men were still panting hard. Zell was blushing rather furiously as he tried to sit up in some sort of dignified matter. Squall was kissing any inch of Zell he could get his lips on. Zell, though loving every second Squall spent kissing him, was starting to become too suspicious. He tried turning to look Squall square in the face, but the SeeD captain had wrapped his arms around Zell, making it impossible for the little blonde to move. Sighing, Zell decided he could just sit where he was to talk.

"Squall...?" Zell began. Squall murmured something, most likely 'what', from the way it had sounded. "Squall, why are you doing this? Why did you do that? Are you feeling okay?" Zell gushed at once. He could feel Squall smile as he placed more kisses on his shoulders and back.

"Are you complaining?" Squall murmured. Zell started, panic rising in him.

"No! I mean, no, I'm not complaining, I'm just...its just...well," Zell said, trailing off as Squall hugged him closer. He could feel Squall’s arousal pressing into him, and he let his head fall back and rest on Squall's shoulder, relishing the feel of his entrapped arousal pressed up against him. With another start, he suddenly realized something. "You didn't come, Squall! I'm sorry, should I help you with that?" Zell asked. Squall stopped kissing.

"If...if you really want to, Zell." Squall said breathlessly. Zell bit his lip, turning his head. Squall was looking at him with such love in his eyes, it almost hurt. Zell nodded.

"What do you want me to do for you?" Zell asked, his voice low. Squall bit his own lip, a slight blush painting his cheeks a beautiful rosy hue. Zell pressed himself against Squall's crotch, placing kisses against his jawline. Squall tilted his head back, thrusting up against Zell. Zell moaned, nodding. "Okay..."

Turning, Zell's hands played down Squall's chest, lifting the white tank top up and over his head. Leaning over, he placed kisses on Squall's neck, down his throat, his chest, placing a loving kiss on the cool, silver Griever. Squall smiled softly at Zell, leaning back, steadying himself with one hand. Zell's fingers moved fast, undoing the buttons and zip on Squall's pants. Squall lifted his hips, helping Zell remove the cloth barrier.

"Is there any way you--" Zell began, questioning. Squall dragged him closer, positioning him on his lap.

"I want to be able to kiss you." Squall growled. Zell blushed, spreading his knees farther apart, nodding. Squall stopped him abruptly. "We’ll need something. I won't hurt you." He ground out, scanning his room with his battle-calculating gaze. Zell looked as well, spotting a tube of lubricant Squall used to oil his gunblade with, sitting on the side table. Reaching over, he grabbed it, holding it up for Squall to see. "Perfect." Squall murmured, popping the top, squeezing a liberal amount into his hand. The gel had a slight leathery smell to it, but it was far from unpleasant, and Zell's gut lurched with anticipation.

Slowly, Squall inserted one finger into Zell, watching the blonde's expression, hunting for any sign of discomfort. Zell's breath had caught, and his eyes had squeezed shut, his mouth hung open, but there were no physical signs of pain. Squall began to push the digit in deeper, all the while watching Zell. He didn't whine, he didn't complain, so Squall assumed he was all right. Thrusting the finger in and out, Squall was becoming harder by the second. It was difficult remaining in control, but he wasn't going to allow himself to lose it, not this soon.

Pulling his finger out slowly, Zell whimpering at the loss of friction, Squall plunged in again, this time with two fingers. Zell bit his lip hard, his head thrown back, his choked scream barely escaping his throat. Squall grunted, clenching his teeth together, trying to will his release to stay off for a little longer. Zell started bucking against Squall's hand, driving his fingers in deeper, and harder.

Deciding Zell had been prepared quite enough, Squall carefully applied some of the lube to his cock with one hand, letting Zell ride his other. Zell's noises were getting more and more desperate, signaling his fast approaching climax. Squall grinned wickedly, gripping Zell's hip with his hand, slowing his movements. Zell whined, begging Squall to let him continue. Squall shook his head, slowly drawing his fingers out.

"Squall, that's not fair..." Zell cried. Chuckling, Squall wrapped his fingers in Zell’s blonde hair again, dragging him down for a kiss. Shoving his tongue deep into Zell's mouth, Squall pushed inside Zell gently. Zell groaned deeply, almost choking on Squall's tongue. "Oh, god, Squall!" Zell gasped.

Not giving Zell too much time to adjust, Squall began thrusting up into him. Zell started grinding against Squall, riding him hard. The friction was just too good, and the both of them had been holding off for too long. Stiffening as he drove in as deep as he could, Squall came violently, shouting Zell's name. A split second later, Zell was screaming Squall's name, coming hard and fast for the second time that morning.

Kissing Zell soundly, Squall thrust once or twice more, teasing the little blonde. Zell gasped, but catching on to the game, clenched around Squall. Squall groaned, kissing Zell deeper. Zell smiled, pulling away from the kiss.

"You want another go, or something?" He asked, raising an eyebrow. Squall pinched Zell's ass, grinning.

"Well, you’re just so conveniently placed right here, I don't see why I would want to overlook such a tempting opportunity." Squall murmured, sucking on Zell's neck, leaving a growing purple bruise when he lifted his lips. Zell sighed, grasping onto Squall's shoulders, clenching again. Squall gasped, biting down on Zell's neck.

"Ah, but if you start it up again, we may not get out of here for a while. Maybe all day, baby. How would the other members of our party take that?" Zell asked, chuckling. Squall growled.

"Don't give a flying fuck how they take it, and the only member of our damn party I care about is right here in my lap." Squall said clearly, kissing Zell. Zell blushed deeply.

"You...care about me?" Zell asked, surprised. Squall blinked.

"I love you, Zell." Squall said, a slight tinge of pink hinting at his cheeks. Zell almost choked.

"You love me?" Zell couldn’t believe his ears. Squall nodded, pressing his lips to Zell's.

Dark eyes widened in disbelief. Her heart raced, and a sudden headache was pounding in her ears.

'No...this wasn't supposed to happen. He was supposed to love me...ME. The one who loves him truest…' Rinoa thought, finding herself unable to breathe. She couldn't understand where she had gone wrong. She'd performed the spell exactly as she was supposed to, everything had been so fucking exact. However, the sounds emanating from the room she was standing just outside of proved otherwise.

The End
