THE WALLS OF JEHOVAH'S PROTECTION
It's a hot day; we're busy doing the work that has been commissioned to us by our Creator, Jehovah God. We're standing inside the Walls of Jehovah's Protection. For those who were born in here this is all they have ever known, but for many others and me we were invited in. You get used to these walls. In fact, you forget what it is like without them. It's common knowledge that you don't go outside of the Walls of Jehovah's Protection, but yet there are some who do. Some make it back and some are still out there. Then there are those who stand on the top edge of his great walls, waiting to jump in at the last minute. Everyday had been a little worse than the last, but today was an unusually calm day, when CRASH!!! The gates to the Walls of Jehovah's Protection closed. The gates shook the ground and the walls, and this made all those standing on the fall off, to the other side. You can hear the crying and weeping outside, cries from those who left and those who feel off the wall saying, "That they have a place reserved inside." But their place was gone. The other cries were from those who knew, now of their impending destruction. It's been hours, no, I think days since it began, but the moaning has ceased. The clouds that had darkened the sky are breaking up now, and it looks like mid-day. There is this feeling among the congregation that the war has stopped. Many mourned over those we knew didn't make it. But at the same time there was a euphoric nervousness. The feeling that we stood strong and made it through. At once, we fell upon our faces and sang praises to our God Jehovah. It was at this time the great gates opened. We were almost afraid to go outside to see the destruction, although we knew Satan was safely locked away for a thousand years. As we made our way through the dead bodies and fallen buildings, the brothers immediately began cleaning up. It seemed to come as naturally to us as if we had done it all along. We worked that first day until after dark without even feeling tired. It was as if a great weight had been taken off of us. I remember this one day as I walked out my door to greet the beautiful day and give thanks to Jehovah, my eyes filled with tears of joy to see my dear friend Marty walking over to greet me, without the aid of a crutch or even a cane. I'm not sure how long it had been since the start of this Paradise. It didn't really matter. We were sitting on the grass, under a tree, listening to one of the Princes talk to us about Jehovah's glory, when the attention drew to a gentleman walking up to the crowd. "He's a new face around here. Is he from a differed part of the land?" He couldn't be! But something about him was familiar. A brother rushed over to greet him, with a warm embrace. "They look like brothers." Someone said. The brother spoke and said, "It is my father." The resurrection had begun!!! It was so wonderful to welcome back these people and explain all that had happened. And what a thrill it was when Abraham, Isaac, Moses and even Abel were brought back. Oh, what we learned from them! But yet, as I lay here in my bed and think of all that has happened, I have this strange feeling that has never come over me in all the years since the millennial reign began. I looked at Sandy, my wife, and she can't sleep either. At once I grabbed her and ran as fast as we could. As we were running we saw others running too, as if we all knew...Satan was loosed!!! As we ran through the night there just ahead, was a familiar sight, from a thousand years ago. The Great Wall of Jehovah's Protection. Once inside we stood closely united with many brothers and sisters, we all praised Jehovah's name aloud and, CRASH!!! The Great Walls of Jehovah's Protection closed again. Sandy looked over the crowd and at once gave way to tears, over in the center of the courtyard was our son Ryan and his wife. We felt so proud and happy to have instilled this love in them. But yelling and screaming drowned our joy out. This time they were yelling blasphemous things, telling us to give up our God. But nothing would change our minds. We all saw Satan's army. It was just as Revelation had put it, they were as far as they eye could see. Yet as we were looking, pillars of fire came out of the midnight sky and engulfed the army within a blink of an eye. There was at once a great cry of exultation from the crowd, and then we all sang songs and slept in his courtyard. In the morning, the gates were opened. We looked out and saw the Paradise we had restored was left untouched; only a smell of cinder remained. A grand feeling came over us, knowing that the great taunter of Jehovah God, Satan the Devil, had been destroyed forever. At the breezy part of the day from out of the blue sky came a bolt of lightning and a loud clap of thunder. And then for the first time ever, from the heavens, Jehovah, our Creator spoke and said: "I AM JEHOVAH, YOUR GOD! AND YOU ARE MY PEOPLE!!!!"
