Well, I got back that test from physics, I'm happy with it but very frustrated at the same time. I got 98%. I made one little mistake, worth .5 of a mark. I for got to put the magnitude on my velocity when I answered the question. I wrote 11m/s instead of 11m/s south. I was so frustrated!!! Anyway, I'm in class right now so I should probably go and do some work. It's also pay day today and I gotta work after school. I got quite a few things to do tonite. Plus I have a quiz tomorrow I have to study for too.
I guess I don't spend as much time as I was hoping on my site. Oh well. I've been busy with other things. I got my ears pierced today!! YAY!!! I love it. I got the double lobe piercing, then on my right ear I got another piercing about a cm and a half above the double piercing. It looks great! For now I have to leave the silver ball and barbell in for a couple weeks, then I can change to whatever I want. Tomorrow or Tuesday, I'm going to get my nose pierce. I've been waiting so long to get it pierced, basically since I was 15. So it's about time I get it! :-) Anyway, there's a couple other one I wanna get but I'm gonna wait and think about it for a while first. I'm not too worried about the belly button one just yet but eventually I will get it. And as for a tattoo, I know one that I wanna get I'm just not sure where to get it yet. Besided, that can wait for a while too.
As for school, that's going well, I'm not impressed with my marks but I'm sure they'll get better threw the year (I hope!!) 80% in calculus, 85% in biology and I still don't know about physics, I hope it's at least 90% hoping for 95 or 98. We've done one test so far, and I think(I hope) I did well. Probably an 80 tho. Oh well. As soon as I get the test back, I'll post the mark in this journal. That's pretty much it for now.
I had quite a good day today. A scientist from the Perimeter Institute in Waterloo came to the school to give a lecture on quantum mechanics. This lecture was indescribable. Awesome!!!It pretty much seeled the deal for my futur goal... Theoritical Physics! That's what I want to do with my life. This week, I'm going to the University of Ottawa to register for the program. I'm trying to get a second job (again :-() to get by while in school, then next semester I'm gonna get osap to pay for my tuition and get a student line of credit for books and rent and stuff. But in all honesty, it was truly inspirational to actually see someone so passionate about physics. You could tell he was so excited just talking about the theories, and I felt the exact same way. We ended up talking a bit and it was just so nice to know that other people enjoy it as well. I've got to do my best this semseter and get the best marks possible to be guaranteed a spot in this program next year. Apparently there's a seminar in Waterloo at the Institute on String Theory, I really want to go but I dont' think I'll be able too. but I'm gonna try really hard. I'm gonna try to save up and that can be a treat to myself if I do good in school. So far I've been doing all my homework and doing my best to figure things out and get them right. Tommorow are my first quizzes so we'll see if I'm doing things right.
I ended up writing in my book again. I'd say I'm almost done Vampire Chronicles: 1. I just all of a sudden was inspired to write in it. I'm glad though cause I've got so many books going right now it's not even funny. It would be nice to get a few out of the way before I start new ones.
Well I should get to bed cause I got homework to do in the morning, my first assignement for calculus is due tomorrow. It's just a review assignment, so hopefully I'll get good marks.
I guess it's been a little longer than I thought since I've made an entry. Well, I've started school, and am quite excited. It's gonna be really fun. The physics class I think is gonna be the best one. The teacher has already talked a bit about the string theory. I'm really looking forward to that class. I wanna get really rediculously good marks so that I can go to university next year. I'm thinking about taking theoretical physics in french at university of ottawa. I really don't care what I do at this point, I just want to do something. I enjoy school. I don't care about debt or time anymore. I'm gonna get myself a student line of credit to pay for rent and bills, and then get osap to pay for my tuition.
I'm still having dreams about Zim. I miss him. I think Gurr might miss him too cause he's been acting strange lately. He won't leave me alone, he's always trying to climb up my leg unitl I pick him up and pet him. He just needs constant attention. I hope Zim is alright. I hope he finds a really good home.
On a lighter note, I've found a new, lazy passtime. I watch episodes of Dawson's Creek all the time now. Actually tonight is the first night in a while that I haven't watched an episode. I usually come home from work, or school get into my pjs, lie in bed and watch a few episodes until it's about 11 then go to sleep. Ben bought me the first season for Christmas cause he knew that used to be my reason for living when I was in high school. My only purpose was to get through the week so I could watch the next episode. Anyway, I started watching it then got back into it so I had to go out and buy the 2nd season. I hope it takes me a little while longer before I finish this season cause I can't really afford to buy the next season. There's a total of 4 seasons and a dvd with the series finally. I eventually want to get all of them.
I just finished watching Wasabi with a bunch of my room mates. I love that movie so much. It's definately my fav. movie. Up there with Queen of the Damned and Escaflowne: A Girl in Gaea. That's another series I used to live by near the end of high school. Escaflowne, I have to find that series. I loved it so much. I still think Folken and Hitomi should of gotten together. Anyway, I should probably go to bed cause I got school in the morning.
