MICHAEL JACKSONS ACCUSER ADMITS HE LIED!
Topic: Breaking News

After the sudden death of Michael Jackson Evan Chandler tells the truth. In 1993, Chandler told a psychiatrist and police that he and Jackson had engaged in sexual acts that included oral sex, the boy gave detailed description of Jackson's genitals. The case was settled out of court for a reported $22 million, but the strain led Jackson to begin taking painkillers. Eventually he became addicted.

Now maybe for the remorse of his death Chandler decides to tell us the truth. " I never meant to lie and destroy Michael Jackson but my father made me to tell only lies. Now I can't tell Michael how much I'm sorry and if he will forgive me ".

Evan Chandler was tape-recorded saying amongst other things, "If I go through with this, I win big-time. There's no way I lose. I will get everything I want and they will be destroyed forever. Under the influence of a controversial father (Jordan Chandler) told his son to tell that Jackson had touched his penis. Jordan Chandler then told a psychiatrist and later police that he and Jackson had engaged in acts of kissing, masturbation and oral sex, as well as giving a detailed description of what he alleged were the singer's genitals. "

Now for the first time i can't bare to lie anymore. Michael Jackson didn't do anything to me, all was my father lies to escape from being poor."

MICHAEL JACKSON DROPS BY GUINNESS WORLD RECORDS TO COLLECT HIS OFFICIAL RECORD CERTIFICATES
Topic: Breaking News

Guinness World Records London Head Quarters today welcomed the world?s biggest superstar through its doors for an honorary record presentation. Michael Jackson, a self confessed Guinness World Records fan since childhood, contacted Guinness World Records ahead of his visit to request that he could collect his multiple Guinness World Record certificates during his trip to London this week.
With a staggering eight records mapping career highlights over the last quarter of a century, Michael Jackson is one of Guinness World Records longest standing record holders. The records span from Youngest vocalist to top the US singles chart, (aged 11, fronting The Jackson Five) and First vocalist to enter the US single chart at No.1 ("You Are Not Alone") to Most weeks at the top of the US album charts (non-soundtrack) (37 weeks for Thriller); Most successful music video (Thriller sold over 1 million units); First entertainer to earn more than $100 million in a year to Highest paid entertainer of all time ($125 million in 1989 Forbes list). His ultimate and latest accolade was also presented to him: Most successful entertainer of all time.
Michael arrived at Guinness World Records offices in North West London at 4pm this afternoon with his entourage - a fleet of black and silver people carriers. Wearing his signature black three quarter length dinner jacket and trousers with yellow piping, he arrived amidst an army of fans who had followed him from the hotel.
He was greeted by Guinness World Records Editor, Craig Glenday, and given a whirlwind tour of the offices and shown weird and wonderful exhibits from the `Guinness World Records Cabinet of Curioddities?, including the world?s oldest vomit and tallest man ever?s shoes. Michael was then presented with his record certificates, a copy of the latest edition of the book and a special edition from the year he was born (1958 ). Evidently delighted with the accolades he holds in high esteem, Michael said: ?I?ve always been a big fan of the book. Thank you so much ? it?s a great honour to visit the Guinness World Records offices.?
Michael Jackson is in London for his first UK performance in nine years. He is due to be presented with a Diamond Award at the World Music Awards in Earls Court on Wednesday evening. He will also sing tracks from his Thriller album, bringing it back to life after 25 years. Guinness World Records Editor, Craig Glenday, will also be reuniting with the star on Wednesday evening to present him with his eighth Guinness World Record.
Guinness World Records Editor Craig Glenday said: ?We always expect the unexpected here at Guinness World Records. From the world?s tallest man, woman with the longest fingernails and most pierced woman, we?re used to all walks of life stopping by the office, but we haven?t been this excited since we met the Queen last year. Michael is one of the greatest superstars of all time and his unwavering success has kept him at the very top of the record breaking charts throughout his career. We?re absolutely delighted that Michael holds Guinness World Records in such high regard and honoured that he?s taken time out of his busy schedule to stop by and collect them in person.?

Mom of Michael Jackson accuser admits welfare fraud
Topic: Breaking News

Mon Nov 13, 2006 4:24 PM ET

LOS ANGELES (Reuters) - A Los Angeles woman, whose son accused pop star Michael Jackson of sexual abuse last year in a sensational trial, pleaded no contest to welfare fraud on Monday and has agreed to repay more than $8,600.

Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Barbara Johnson also ordered the 38-year-old woman, who has not been named by most news organizations to protect the identity of her son, to perform 150 hours of community service.

Johnson said the welfare fraud charge would be reduced to a misdemeanor on April 27 if the woman performs the community service and pays the restitution by that date. The woman was expected to move to Georgia later this year and was ordered by the judge to enroll in a community service program there.

In California, pleading no contest plea is the legal equivalent of pleading guilty.

At the trial last year, prosecutors charged Jackson with molesting the teen and conspiring to hold him and his family against their will at his famed Neverland Valley Ranch in central California. The jury acquitted the entertainer of all charges in June of 2005.

The woman took the witness stand during the trial, testifying that for a time she was forbidden to leave the ranch and was intimidated by Jackson's associates.

She refused to testify about the welfare assistance, citing her Fifth Amendment protections against self-incrimination, and jurors said after the trial that her credibility in court factored into their deliberations.

Jackson, 47, has since moved out of the country, and Neverland remains largely shuttered.

Billy's Blog: Michael Jackson Exclusive (October 15, 2006)
Topic: Breaking News

It's half past four in the morning and I'm making my way to Dublin with Ray. I have spent a fair amount of time in the back of Ray's car in the last 34 hours. He is the driver, henchman for Paddy who owns the recording studio in the middle of no man's land, Ireland. Not only is it a quaint studio built inside the grounds of an old stone classic Irish estate...it's the new creative home of Michael Jackson.

And yes, I just conducted the first interview with Michael Jackson since he left the United States in June 2005. First off, let e tell you what this interview is not:

It is not a bare all, rehashing of that period of his life. I was prepared to ask him all the questions in the world regarding mistakes made and lessons learned, but trust me, he was not. He asked if 5 minutes of rolling tape was ok in the studio while he "collaborated" with Will I AM from the Black Eyed Peas. Ultimately, We rolled for about 40 minutes and I did ask him questions about music and his thoughts for making a comeback.

Michael Jackson was nervous and antsy. He was truly torn. He wanted to stay and keep jamming and have some fun, but he also wanted to leave before, from his perspective, he got crucified by another TV interview.

Michael's publicist and advisor, Raymone Bain, informed us (me and my Executive Producer, Rob Silverstein) that Michael would like to meet us alone, no cameras, in his cottage first. We agreed of course and before long we were seated at a breakfast table in a very cozy, humble stone cottage. Down the spiral staircase he came. First his boots, then his pants...black with a gold stripe down the side, then a velvet jacket with a white t-shirt underneath, then he turned to face us. I admit, my pulse was running high. He is a mythical character as atypical and untouchable as can be.

First impression I had was that he looked healthy. Fit. As Paddy told us earlier, artists come to his estate for the whole experience - nature walks and horseback rides, organic, homegrown food, the indoor mineral spring pool....peace and tranquility. It has suited Michael well, although he does not live there.

We stood up, shook hands and began small talk about life...soon, Michael began to make clear what he did not want: an interview. He was just willing to let our cameras roll while he and Will listened to beats and opened the lid to a comeback. I said that we should just go in there and go until he didn't want to anymore. Pensively, he agreed and we started for the door and the 50 yard walk to the studio.

This interview is a baby step for Michael.

About ten minutes into the session, after I had rolled out several questions, Michael paused and tried to get out. He did not like receiving pointed questions and he encouraged Will to play more beats so we could just roll casually.

At the end of the day, we did a little more of both. At one point, I suggested Michael remake "Thriller" for a new generation...with CD/DVD and web components, essentially go with what's proven but update with the help of technically savvy producer, Will I Am.
Michael lit up. Amazingly that was something he hadn't considered.

When the music was rolling and he didn't have me asking him questions, one could see sparks of life and energy. He hummed a little and at one point got up and walked to the back of the room where he could move a little to the music....he was almost dancing.

Michael was there with his children. I never saw them but Paddy, the studio's owner, said they were having a ball, playing with his children and enjoying the exquisite countryside. According to Paddy, Michael gets up in the morning and makes breakfast for them...usually Porridge and fruit. I find myself hoping that Michael's life is as normal as possible. Of course, it isn't. Nobody knows anything about him...does he drive? Apparently, he does occasionally and he even had a cell phone before losing it a day later.

There....something normal to which people can RELATE.

Again, this was a first step for Michael. He was excited and terrified. It's all about feeling whether he can trust somebody or not. His track record is horrible on that front. Maybe it will improve in regards to us. I am quite sure there is more to come.

Welfare Fraud Charged Against Mother of Jackson Accuser
Mood:  chatty
Topic: Breaking News
Tuesday, 23 August 2005

A five-count complaint of welfare fraud has been filed against the mother of the teen accuser of Michael Jackson. The complaint alleges that she collected $18,782 in payments while making claims that she was indigent.

During the trial, Jackson's attorneys presented evidence that she and her family received $150,000 settlement in 2001 in a lawsuit against J.C. Penney, again while claiming to be indigent.

It was also shown that she received money from her boyfriend to pay her rent on an apartment.

The Los Angeles County District Attorney's Bureau of Fraud and Corruption Prosecutions are alleging that she hid from authorities that she received the settlement and failed to report the receipt of $637 for her rent in January 2003. The payment was not discovered until a social services investigator received a tip from a private investigator on February 2, 2005.

She was a significant witness for the prosecution against Michael Jackson and many of the jurors believed that she lacked credibility.

Trial turned Jackson into a 'zombie'!
Mood:  blue
Topic: Breaking News
London June 23, 2005 4:38:33 PM IST

Pop star Michael Jackson's nutritionist has revealed that the star was under so much stress during his trial that he had almost turned into a zombie.

"I got this strange call from Joe Jackson one day. He said, 'You gotta fly out here. Michael's been in his room for 30 days, drinking nothing but water,'" Dick Gregory told US TV news show EXTRA.

"He was stronger at the trial than he was when he got home in the evening. That's when he was able to collapse and deal with the pain and feel the hurt of his body. "He was a zombie... He just didn't have an appetite and he wasn't eating. There was nothing he could do to get his appetite back," he added.

Acording to Ratethemusic.com, Gregory has trained Jackson's personal cooks so they can mix vitamins and herbs into his food to help stabilise the pop star and build up his strength.

"I took about three hours training them how to cook," Gregory said. (ANI)

by Steve Corbett / Times Columnist

While the world watches Santa Barbara District Attorney Tom Sneddon prepare to make his case against superstar Michael Jackson on charges of child molestation, the Santa Maria parents of another alleged molestation victim wonder why Sneddon abandoned them in their search for truth.

David Bruce Danielson retired last year from the Santa Barbara County Sheriff's Department, where he worked as a detective until his July 20, 2002, arrest on suspicion of child molestation.

In August 2002, Sneddon decided not to prosecute Danielson, of Orcutt, who was then 49, married and a veteran forensic investigator who had worked on some of the county's most serious criminal cases.

During a subsequent internal investigation into the molestation allegations, Danielson remained on paid administrative leave until he retired, according to sheriff's Lt. Julie McCammon.

Citing confidentiality, Sheriff's Department officials declined to release specifics about how long Danielson collected his paycheck while on administrative leave or how much money he received when he retired June 17, 2003.

Danielson received full pay during the time he did not work and applied that time to his pension, McCammon said. Danielson did not return to partial duty because of the seriousness of the child molestation allegations, she said.

The completed internal investigation did not exonerate Danielson, Sheriff Jim Anderson said Monday.

"He retired in lieu of termination," Anderson said.

Danielson could not be reached for comment.

Sneddon did not respond to a request to discuss the difference between freeing Danielson and prosecuting Jackson. But the district attorney has previously said that Danielson's lack of provable criminal intent figured prominently into the decision to release the detective.

Although Sneddon has offered few details about the charges against Jackson, the veteran prosecutor obviously believes Jackson acted willfully.

But Danielson admitted only to accidentally fondling the then 14-year-old child in a one-time occurrence, according to Sneddon, who said in an August 2002 interview that the deputy admitted touching the girl "in areas people would consider inappropriate."

Sneddon said Danielson came home after a night of drinking and crawled into his wife's bed where the child, who was a guest in the home, was sleeping.

"He touched (the child) a few places (and) by what he was touching realized it wasn't his wife," Sneddon said. "He said, 'Oh my gosh,' and jumped out of bed."

Sneddon said the subsequent investigation into the girl's claims did not provide the required evidence necessary to file a formal charge and prepare for court.

The child's parents, whose names are not being used to protect the identity of the alleged victim, believe that a provable case existed against Danielson.

The girl's mother and father also wonder why the Sheriff's Department - and not an outside police agency - conducted the investigation. One of the detectives even identified himself as a friend of Danielson, the child's mother said shortly after Sneddon declined to prosecute.

The child's father said last week that the Jackson case seems to depend on the word of a child who, like his daughter, cooperated with Santa Barbara County law enforcement officials.

But Sneddon didn't take his daughter's statements seriously enough to go to court.

Jackson's alleged victim, however, is expected to testify as Sneddon's star witness.

Shortly after Sneddon decided not to prosecute Danielson, the child wrote about her feelings, her father said.

"When I came clean I expected to be set free from the burden I had been carrying for so long, however, the only person set free was David Danielson," the child wrote.

"I am astounded at the stupidity the DA showed by allowing this man to be released of all charges. David Danielson may be free, but I am still emotionally trapped. There is not one day that I don't wish I wouldn't have come clean..."

"This happened to me when I was 14," she wrote. "I am now 16. I am a junior in high school, and I feel alone in this. I am asking the community to please help me to bring this man to justice. I don't want this to happen to other young girls. Santa Barbara County, please HELP..."

The child signed her letter "The "IGNORED' Teen.

The girl's father describes the now 17-year-old high school senior as bright, busy and sensitive. Yet, he worries that she will feel even more alone now that Sneddon has taken the word of another alleged child molestation victim more seriously than hers.

"Maybe it's because it is high profile, higher profile, but still, in her mind it's the same situation," he said. "She's still angry."

Although the child is "over what actually happened," the child's father said "her anger stems toward Sneddon." Although the girl's family dealt with an assistant district attorney in Santa Maria, "it all boils down to Sneddon's hands" in Santa Barbara, he said.

Despite Danielson's shocking admission to several people, Sneddon judged the evidence to be weak.

Maybe so.

But, in this uncelebrated case, even the best legal judgment does little to convince a still-vulnerable child that trust and truth matter.

Jackson not guilty on all counts!!!!!!
Mood:  party time!
Topic: Breaking News

MSNBC staff and news service reports

Updated: 10:06 p.m. ET June 13, 2005

SANTA MARIA, Calif. - Michael Jackson was found not guilty Monday on all counts in his trial on child molestation charges, ending a two-year legal saga for one of the world's most well-known pop stars.

The courtroom sat silently as Judge Rodney Melville opened jury envelopes and silently read the verdict forms before allowing the court clerk to read the verdict out loud. Lead defense attorney Tom Mesereau Jr., who scored a dazzling legal victory in the case, patted Jackson on the shoulder after the verdict was read. Two jurors dabbed their eyes with tissues.
Jackson showed no visible reaction in court. He then slowly, silently walked out of court surrounded by family and his bodyguards, looking slightly stunned. The singer briefly waved to fans.

His fans, kept behind barriers at a distance from the courthouse, shouted and wept with joy over Jackson's acquittal, celebrating a complete victory for the singer's defense team, though one that may not repair his tarnished and ever more bizarre public image.
?Justice is done. The man's innocent. He always was,? Mesereau later said in a statement on Jackson's official Web site.

Tito Jackson told MSNBC by phone that Michael was resting in the hours after the verdict, and the family was ?just trying to absorb everything.? In the same interview, Michael's brother Jermaine Jackson thanked his brother's longtime fans for their support throughout the trial and said the family was heartened by the results. ?Being a family and staying together we can overcome anything,? Jermaine Jackson said.

Michael Jackson, 46, was indicted on 10 counts for allegedly molesting a then-13-year-old cancer patient, serving him wine and then conspiring to hold him and his family captive. The charges included four allegations of molestation, one of attempted molestation, four of serving alcohol to a minor and one for conspiracy.

He could have faced nearly 20 years in prison if convicted on all charges. Instead, he got into his black SUV with his family and aides, and quickly departed the courthouse complex, arriving back at Neverland shortly after 6 p.m. ET to another throng of cheering fans.

Defeat for D.A.

Jackson's acquittal was an astounding defeat for District Attorney Thomas Sneddon, who long pursued charges against the singer. Not only did the jury acquit Jackson on all 10 charges but also found him not guilty on a series of lesser charges, such as serving alcohol to a minor.

?I think we all just looked at the evidence and pretty much agreed,? said juror No. 5, a 79-year-old widow, at a news conference after the verdict. Asked at a separate news conference why he went forward with a case based around an accuser that had serious credibility issues, Sneddon said he always felt confident about his case. ?We don't select our victims and we don't select the families they come from,? he said.

When asked whether his office would stop pursuing charges against Jackson, the district attorney replied, ?No comment.? But he insisted that his prior efforts to indict Jackson in 1993 had ?absolutely, unequivocally nothing to do with our evaluation of this case.?

Jurors sat through 14 weeks of testimony, then deliberated for seven days before reaching their decision. The jury of eight women and four men ranged in age from 21 to 79; eight were parents and six acknowledged they were fans of Jackson's music.

Two were Hispanic, one was Asian and the rest were white. Jackson supporters had protested that no black jurors were chosen for the trial. As the trial unfolded, dozens of witnesses described the intricate and often unsettling details of life at Jackson's Neverland ranch. Prosecutors argued that the singer molested the boy, now 15, in late February or early March 2003, shortly after the airing of a documentary, "Living with Michael Jackson." On that program, viewed worldwide by an audience of millions, the accuser held hands with Jackson, and the singer confessed that he allowed young boys to sleep in his bed ? but insisted it was an innocent, loving act.

Jackson's handlers viewed the documentary as a P.R. nightmare, according to testimony, and worked to prepare a so-called "rebuttal" video to counter the details revealed in the British-produced film, which was seen by many at the time as a confirmation of longtime suspicions about Jackson's relationships with children.

Mother on the stand

Prosecutors alleged that Jackson and his associates conspired to hold the accuser and his family in their custody so they could help stem the flood of negative publicity. Testimony revealed that the accuser and his family stayed at Neverland in the weeks following the documentary, and taped an interview offering warm praise for the singer ? an interview the mother claimed was scripted.

They also stayed with Jackson during a trip to Miami and accompanied the pop star on his private jet back to California, a trip during which the accuser's mother claimed she saw Jackson licking her son's head. The mother spent several days on the stand, offering testimony that was always dramatic, sometimes bizarre and occasionally incoherent. She described her last stay at Neverland as tense and scary, but never quite explained why she didn't called police or other authorities.

At first, she said, Jackson's aides tenderly offered to help her family from the barrage of media interest. Jurors heard a tape of associate Frank Tyson, whom prosecutors called an unindicted co-conspirator, telling her, ?Let us take care of you. Let us protect you.? But she insisted that Jackson's associates, whom she called ?killers? on the stand, eventually turned on her: holding her a virtual captive for weeks and plotting to take her family on a one-way trip to Brazil.

Yet testimony detailed that she could leave Neverland to shop and run errands. The mother faced her own legal scrutiny during the trial, and Mesereau frequently underscored her credibility problems with jurors. She was forced to acknowledge she lied under oath in a 2001 lawsuit against JC Penney, and she took the Fifth over allegations that she committed welfare fraud. A welfare worker testified she had.

Other witnesses, including her former sister-in-law, portrayed the accuser's family as vindictive and money-hungry, the mother as a grifter who pleaded for help ? often invoking her family's misfortunes ? and always asked for more.
TV host Jay Leno told jurors how he grew suspicious when the accuser called him repeatedly, saying Leno was his hero.

Celebrities on the stand

Leno was just one of a handful of big-name entertainers who made their way to the Santa Maria courthouse, though most celebrities named on a star-studded witness list ? everyone from Quincy Jones to Elizabeth Taylor ? were never called as a confident defense surprised observers with a streamlined case that shaved the trial's length by a month or more.
Comedians Chris Tucker and George Lopez took the stand to describe their interactions with the accuser. Talk show host Larry King appeared in court, but Melville ruled his testimony irrelevant. Most notably, actor Macaulay Culkin ? a longtime Jackson friend ? took the stand to firmly deny that Jackson had ever molested him.

Other young men who had long been considered possible victims of Jackson also appeared. The now-grown son of Jackson's former maid described for jurors how Jackson turned a 1990 tickling episode into a fondling incident. The mother of a boy who received millions from Jackson in a settlement over 1993 molestation claims that nearly derailed his career said Jackson had begged to sleep with her son: ?He said, ?You don?t trust me. We?re a family. Why won?t you allow him to be in my bedroom??? Yet dancer Wade Robson, another longtime Jackson pal who faced molestation rumors, flatly denied any inappropriate touching by the pop star.

Lurid testimony

At times, testimony in the Santa Maria courtroom was lurid and unsettling. Investigators described finding smut in Jackson's bedroom, magazines like Hustler Barely Legal, with both the singer's and accuser's fingerprints.

The accuser's brother described sexually charged Web-browsing sessions during which Jackson allegedly showed the boys images of nude women while cracking jokes. In one jaw-dropping moment, the boy recalled Jackson pointing to an image of a woman?s breasts and quipping, ?Got milk??

A former Jackson security guard claimed he had seen the singer fondle and perform oral sex on another boy who later received a multimillion-dollar settlement from Jackson. Another former employee claimed he saw Jackson put his hands down Culkin's pants. Some of the most gripping testimony came from the accuser himself, who described how a man he once considered his ?best friend ever? allegedly molested him twice.

Yet Mesereau and his team carefully poked holes in the credibility of the accuser and many other witnesses ? noting, for example, that several former employees who testified lost a lawsuit against Jackson and were ordered to pay the singer $1.4 million.

Holes in the case

The veteran defense lawyer even got the accuser to contradict himself in front of jurors, and caught the accuser's brother in a lie involving an adult magazine that he claimed the singer showed him. Time and again, the defense team found effective weak spots in Sneddon's witnesses and presented their own witnesses to cast doubt on key details.

Prosecutors were also stung when one of their most high-profile witnesses, Jackson's ex-wife Debbie Rowe, described the singer as a "great father" and attacked his aides. Called by prosecutors to describe a taped interview about Jackson as "scripted," she shocked the courtroom by saying just the opposite. Her testimony backed up frequent suspicions that Jackson's interest in her was hardly romantic ? ?We never shared a home," she said ? but did nothing to help the prosecution and left many with the impression that Sneddon's case had serious flaws.

Santa Barbara County authorities first raided Neverland in November 2003. Jackson was booked two days later, and indicted in April 2004. But Sneddon first tried to prosecute Jackson 10 years earlier over the 1993 allegations. The accuser in that case backed out and charges were never filed, but the singer's associates claimed the district attorney had a vendetta against Jackson. In a 1995 song, "D.S.," the pop legend even presumptively referenced Sneddon, calling him a "cold man."

Michael Jackson treated for back problems

SOLVANG, Calif. - Michael Jackson was taken to an emergency room Sunday for treatment of a back problem that has plagued him throughout his molestation trial. He later left to the thunder of flashbulbs.

Jackson, accompanied by a bodyguard, arrived at the Santa Ynez Valley Cottage Hospital about five miles from his Neverland ranch at about 2:30 p.m., spokeswoman Raymone K. Bain said. “Mr. Jackson’s back has spurred up on him again,” Bain said. “It’s pretty serious. It was serious enough for him to come over here.” Although Jackson wasn’t seen leaving the hospital, it was believed he departed shortly after 8 p.m. in a sport utility vehicle surrounded by a flurry of activity. His aides had erected white scaffolding outside the emergency room entrance to block the view of photographers gathered outside.

As flashbulbs popped and dozens of fans screamed, “We love you,” the SUV and another vehicle drove slowly through a street packed with reporters and fans. Several chased after the vehicles and one photographer was led away by police. Olivia Kennedy, switchboard operator at the hospital, said the staff had been asked not to release any information about Jackson.

Bain said stress contributed to the entertainer’s back problem. “He’s under a tremendous amount of stress right now,” she said at an impromptu news conference outside the hospital. “Other than his back, he is doing fine.” It was unclear late Sunday evening whether Jackson had been admitted to the hospital. Bain had offered no further updates since mid-afternoon.

Jackson’s health has been an issue throughout the trial. The 46-year-old pop star appeared gaunt in recent days, and officials at the hospital disclosed Friday that he had visited the emergency room overnight Thursday. They would not discuss the reason for that visit, citing privacy concerns.

Prior to last week, Jackson’s case was interrupted twice by hospital visits, once for treatment of flu symptoms. He first reported a back problem in early March, when he went to an emergency room on one of the days his accuser took the stand. Jackson arrived late, dressed in pajama bottoms, after the judge ordered him to come to court. The singer is charged with molesting a 13-year-old boy in February or March 2003. He is also accused of plying him with wine and conspiring to hold his family captive. The jury received Jackson’s case Friday afternoon and deliberated for about two hours before adjourning for the weekend. They will resume discussions Monday. Bain said Jackson planned to return to his family at Neverland when he is released from the hospital to wait for the verdict.
“His mother is a rock of Gibraltar. So is his father,” she said.

Also Sunday, the Rev. Jesse Jackson said in an interview that he has arrived in the area to meet with Jackson. “I talk to him almost every day, and we have prayer,” he said. “We are going to be in prayer as we watch and wait.”

Delayed Court Doc Reveals Startling Info - HOT DOC
Mood:  surprised

In a court document not released until June 2 2005, but stamped April 20 2005, reveals starting information about the accuser's sister, Davellin Arvizo. I guess this doc just so happened to get delayed??..for months by the court?..until after the trial was over.

The defense motion is in relation to Manuel Ramirez, who was Davellin Arvizo's boyfriend at the time in the summer of 2003, and Carol Lemere.

According to the court doc, Arvizo moved into Ramirez's house and had a shared bank account with him in the summer of 2003; right around the time they started making allegations against Jackson.

The defense wanted Ramirez to testify concerning vital information he had about the Arvizo family.
Also according to the doc, Davellin Arvizo told Carol Lemere some very interesting and damaging things about Janet Arvizo. Excerpt from the court doc:

Davellin told Ms. Lemere that: (1) Janet Arvizo physically abused the Arvizo children; (2) Janet Arvizo taught the Arvizo children to shoplift and this is what took place during the J.C. Penney incident; and (3) she did not get along with her mother. (An interview of Carol Lemere by defense investigator, Scott Ross, is attached as Exhibit A.)

The defense investigation has demonstrated that Davellin Arvizo made exculpatory statements to Angel Vivanco, a Neverland employee with whom Davellin maintained a relationship with during and after her time at Neverland.

This relationship occurred during February through April of 2003, just prior to her relationship with Mr. Ramirez.

Davellin told Mr. Vivanco that: (1) she did not get along with her mother; and (2) her mother was planning "something big" with regard to Mr. Jackson and that she did not wish to participate in these plans.

We have reason to believe that Davellin Arvizo made similar exculpatory statements to Manuel Ramirez.

We have further reason to believe that Davellin Arvizo moved out of her mother's residence, and into Mr. Ramirez's home, due to her initial unwillingness to participate in her mother's plan to make false allegations against Mr. Jackson. (pg 2-3)

Wow. Well this isn't the first time we've heard the allegation of the mother abusing the children. This family has a history with the Dept of Children and Family Services.

According to a report from NBC(MSNBC), years ago Gavin Arvizo broke down and told one of his teachers that his mother was beating him. The teacher -- teachers being mandatory child abuse reporters -- contacted the DCFS. They began an investigation and the boy recanted his abuse allegations (see Accuser has history of changing his story).

This is the not the first allegation of abuse leveled concerning this family. During their divorce, the mother once accused the father of sexually abusing one of the children. And the mother tacked on a sexual abuse allegation over a year after her initial filing of a lawsuit against JC Penney.

So not only does this family have a history of leveling abuse allegations all over the place, but if Lemere is to be believed, there may have been something to that original physical abuse allegation against Janet Arvizo after all.

The interview done by the defense investigator with Carol Lemere was done Nov 12 2004. Lemere met the family through a tap school owned by Arlene Kennedy.

According to Lemere (and Brett Ratner in a previous interview with Fox), the mother was rarely there when Gavin Arvizo was in the hospital because she was seen as "disruptive".

We've even had testimony in this trial from the paralegal Mary Holzer who once talked about an episode where Janet Arvizo threw herself down on the floor, kicking and screaming, and calling the doctors "the devil" when she was taken to get check out medically for that JC Penney civil case.

In that interview with a defense investigator, Lemere says Arvizo was seeing another guy when she was still married to ex-husband David Arvizo. She says Davellin Arvizo started living with her at one point.

Also according to Lemere, Davellin A. relayed how Janet A. would beat her with a cord sometimes in the middle of the night. And unlike what Arvizo would later claim, according to the sister, it was Janet A. who would go after the biological father; hitting him:
She would tell stories about being awakened at 2:00 in the morning by Janet; being beaten with a cord by their mother; and being forced to clean the house. [Davellin] also would tell how Janet would hit their father, David.

Ms. Lemere said that [Davellin] would cry constantly and indicated that Janet would hit the children, all three of them. She was concerned about the behavior displayed by Star, indicating Star would flirt with grown women in an "unnatural manner."

Each time Davellin appeared at the house, she would have new stories about Janet and at one point in the summer of 2000 said that they were going to get a big house in the Hollywood Hills. She had no idea what that meant.

A house in the Hollywood Hills? Could that be with the money they were initially expecting to get from JC Penney? Or the money they were systematically scamming out of a number of celebrities who were donating for non-existent medical bills?

Also, according to Lemere, Janet A. would also tell Gavin A. how he was "going to die" and that she actually "started to make preparations for his funeral" (pg 9). Lemere says it was David, the biological father, who would repeatedly tell him he would be fine. Lemere says Davellin would be "very upset about Janet trying to bury Gavin before he was dead" (pg 9).

Janet A. also, according to Lemere, claimed she was jumped by "a black guy" and proceeded to describe the assault with the same allegations she used against the JC Penney guards. Coincidence? Of course not. From the doc:

With respect to the JC Penney incident she believes that this was a coordinated shoplifting attempt that went bad and Janet saw an opportunity to turn into a money making venture.

Lemere also says Gavin A. was already very computer literate and would already know how to surf the internet before they met Jackson. At trial, the accuser and his brother claimed Jackson and Frank Tyson showed them how to use the computer and how to access porn sites. They also testified under oath that they didn't know how to use computers until they were shown by Tyson and Jackson.

Lemere called the kids "trained con-artists" because they had all flipped the stories now to say that it was the father abusing them; that it was the father who had molested the children.

Remember in a pre-trial hearing the mother, during her testimony, pointed a finger at someone in the audience claiming they were "bothering her"? Well she was referring to Lemere because Lemere was in the courtroom during that testimony; although the only thing "bothering" her was simply Lemere's presence.

And there's more. Just read through the court document. You can download it in pdf form here:

Jackson's Defense Wants to Know..., Dimond, Allred, Lieberman mentioned
Mood:  party time!
Topic: Breaking News

Date 2004/10/6 21:50:27

What do Michael Jackson?s defense attorneys want to know regarding what Tom Sneddon told Diane Dimond, Gloria Allred, Larry Feldman, Stan Katz and Carole Lieberman? That?s the question we all want answered.

In newly released court documents tonight (October 6, 2004), we learn that Jackson?s attorneys are still having trouble getting information from the prosecution. What they call ?peace meal? offerings from prosecutors have drawn rebukes by the defense.

For months there has been speculation about how Diane Dimond was just so mysteriously lucky enough to be at Jackson?s Neverland Ranch laying in wait with a camera crew, expecting the police to show up to raid Jackson?s home. And she learned this information in enough time to allow her to fly in to California and get two camera crews ready (one was at the police station just in case).

In court documents, Jackson?s attorneys sent a letter to prosecutors wanting information about a large number of things. Among those things include communications between Sneddon and the aforementioned ?Rogue?s Gallery? of characters involved in and around this case.

From the defense?s Motion to Compel, stamped Oct 6:

13. Please provide us with all notes, records, reports, phone conversations, statements (whether telephonic, in person, verbal, written, signed or unsigned), recordings (audio, video and/or transcripts), involving District Attorney Tom Sneddon's contacts with but not limited to Diane Diamond, Gloria Allred, Larry Feldman, Dr. Stanley Katz and Carole Lieberman. This request is limited to issues concerning Michael Jackson's arrest, past and present investigations and or inquiries conducted and or directed by Mr. Sneddon on behalf of the Santa Barbara District Attorney's Office and or by the current and former Sheriff of Santa Barbara County.
