Song Of Nature The silence of nature is like an unnoticed song, It plays forever, But few listen, Few take time to see the greatness of it. I say this because it relates to me. I'm like the unheard song of nature. I'm seen, But brushed off the shoulder like an every day thing. Few notice, Few care. You wonder why it all happens to you, You wonder why no one cares. It's enough to drive someone to death. It makes you feel as though you were a mistake. Like you have no use on earth. So you turn to murder, Murder of yourself. Once you are gone, All of those people who never did notice, Maybe then they'll see what they've done. After you are gone, They'll finally hear the song of nature, And realize it's true greatness, And wish it never left. *Melissa E. G. Juliana* 4/03/03
