There are so many people in the world,

But only a handful I truly care for.

Like my family and the closest friends I have.

These people have something no one else does.

They have as much love and respect for me as I do for them.

It's one of those things that's hard to realize,

That someone could be so close in spirit,

But so far away in reality it's not seen how much they have impacted in my life until they leave.

The moment I understand they have left for good,

I wish they've never departed from communication.

Hoping someday they'll come back for me to tell them how much I really care fo them,

How much I appreciated them listening to me when it was needed,

It's one of those things you never forget,

That's why I am here now saying thank you for being in my life,

For being the best friend I needed,

And helping me stay exisiting in this world.

Because if it weren't for you,

I wouldn't be here now,

Saying I love you and thank you; I couldn't bear without you.
