This struggle of life is driving me crazy,

But strangly enough showing me how to be.

When my heart felt pain,

The struggle kept me sane,

After a bad school day,

I still knew good things to say.

When I was picked on more often,

My heart only softened.

After arguing with my parents,

I realized what I was hearing.

What is this struggle trying to prove?

That maybe somethings I'll never lose?

I can show other peope what I saw,

Help them see what the real struggle is,

Maybe they'll get the most of it.

Because I know I did.

This struggle of life was my main power to live,

Gave me strength to give.

Near the beginning it made me crazy,

But gave me a mark for eternity.
