Stephen Spielberg brings new footage

to the "E.T. Adventure" for

the 20th Anniversary.

In March of 2002, all Universal Studios

Theme Parks will receive new

footage for the "E.T. Adventure"

ride, for the 20th Anniversary

re-release of "E.T." in

theaters. The special effects ride

will include all new footage from

the making of the film with cast

members Drew Barrymore, Henry Thomas

Dee Wallace Stone, and director Stephen Spielberg.

The ride was envisoned by Mr. Spielberg himself.

"Guests at the Universal theme parks

have always loved participating physically

in the ET story. Here, they're able to actually

'ride the movie,' to get on a bicycle,

fly over the city lights and take

the magical journey to ET's home on the

Green Planet. For me, the E.T. Adventure ride

in the Universal theme parks is the

next evolution of the original motion picture.

In a very real sense, it's the only sequel

to the movie," said Steven Spielberg.
