History: Archelons are an extinct species of sea turtle from the late Cretaceous. Because it existed in dinosaur times, it was featured in the remake of "One Million Years B.C.", only a lot larger. It appeared on the same beach that the shell people were on, snapped at a few of them, got poked with spears, got rocks thrown at it, and it went into the ocean (probably where it was going anyways). It was probably on the beach to lay it's eggs, because that's the only reason modern sea turtles come on land.

Fighting Power: **

It evolved during a time and place where there were few predators in the shallow seas. Thereby, it isn't much of a fighter. It's a predator by nature, but only on jellyfish and things of that sort. Thereby, it has a weak shell and weak jaws, and is very slow and cumbersome on land. However, its shell still is strong enough to add to defense, its beak is really sharp, and it is a graceful swimmer. If it is in the water, it stands a chance. If it's on land, well, who knows. But, it did scare those cave people half to death! Well, he didn't kill anybody, but he probably gave those people nightmares! Beware the giant turtle! Just when you thought it was safe to go back to the Cretaceous ocean…
