Death Facer
A.K.A.: Promedius
Height: 65 Meters (estimated guess)
Weight: 55,000 Tons (estimated guess)
Armament: chain gun on left arm, retractable grabbing claw on right arm, the Neo-Maximum Cannon in chest, flight capability, underground tunneling ability with upwards-firing yellow laser beams, can transform back-and-forth to an aerial battleship form
Weakness: must be controlled telepathically by someone or something, damage to the Neo-Maximum cannon causes total destruction of the machine
Film Appearances: Ultraman Tiga & Ultraman Dyna (1998)
History: a powerful aerial battleship was produced by the TPC to defend Earth, but after being taken over by the Monera aliens it was used to attack Earth. Seemingly defeated Ultraman Dyna, and then sent to attack a major city, destroying most of the military sent to stop him as well as the majority of the equipment used by the Super G.U.T.S. team. Dyna actually survived the first battle, and managed to succeed in the second battle by ramming his fist through the Neo-Maximum Cannon.
Fighting Power:
*****Designed to be the ultimate weapon, one that is perfect and has no weaknesses. While the last statement is not necessarily true, the Promedius was still a powerful piece of equipment that became even more powerful thanks to the Monera takeover. Capable of transforming into an anthropomorphic form, the Death Facer takes on the appearance of a daikaiju. The gattling gun can blast the enemy out of the sky, and the grabbing claw can latch onto things from a far distance away. Combined with flying and burrowing capabilities, this robotic monstrosity becomes a versatile destructive capability, but there is even more to it. The Neo-Maximum cannon is one of the most powerful weapons placed into something of it’s size, capable of vaporizing pretty much anything in a set radius, which can range from a something the size of a giant monster to something as large as a small moon. Not even Ultraman can withstand this blast, but luckily he had the foresight to never take on the full power of the cannon, instead preferring a more tactical punch to the somewhat-fragile weapon. This of course blew the Death Facer up, proving that it wasn’t perfect after all.
