History: the monster "god" of the Empire of Mu, an undersea kingdom in the pacific. Mu was once an advanced civilization ruling an entire continent, but the continent sunk beneath the waves. The survivors etched out an existence in their new underwater home, using geothermal energy to power their technology. In 1963 the Empress of Mu sought to conquer the world, but one thing stood in her way: the Gotengo. The Gotengo is a giant super-submarine, capable of traveling at any depth in the water as well as through the air or underground. As it made it’s way to Mu, the Empress released Manda, who wrapped around the Gotengo. Manda was zapped with electricity, causing the dragon to release it’s grip, and then Manda was frozen by the Gotengo’s Zero Cannon. The Gotengo then went on to destroy the entire Empire of Mu by overloading it’s generators. No longer kept in luxury and fed food (and sacrifices), Manda was on it’s own when it thawed out. It is unknown rather it was captured before or after it thawed, but Manda eventually was transported to Monster Island. In 1999, the Kilaaks made their attempt to conquer the Earth by controlling all the monsters on Monster Island, Manda included. Manda was tasked to destroy London, and latter on was part of the assault against Tokyo along with Godzilla, Rodan, and Mothra. Eventually the Kilaaks' control was halted, and Manda joined the rest of the monsters in the battle against King Ghidorah. After the fight, Manda went back to Monster Island to live out it’s life in peace.

Fighting Ability: **

Manda, it seems, doesn’t have much control over it’s body, oftentimes wobbling back and forth and moving much slower than it probably can. When Manda does manage to work it’s way to it’s destination, it attacks be either biting the enemy or wrapping around and constricting. Although it’s movement is shaky and it’s power is weak, Manda still has the tough scaly hide to deflect modern weaponry. Electricity and cold temperatures still work, though, and overall Manda is below average in fighting ability.
