History: An ancient creature awakened by atomic radiation. Originally attacked Tokyo when attracted to a "slab" that was excavated in the city. Seems to be constantly attacked by the military of the United Nations as well as the anti-monster organization known as G-Force. Also tends to engage in mortal combat with various monsters of near-equal size as well as demonic statues, alien hunters, and insane professors.

Fighting Power: *****

This particular comic excursion has close ties to the Heisie Godzilla movie series, most likely due to Dark Horse’s translation of the "Godzilla 1985" manga, and Godzilla tends to act in about the same way. Slow moving, yet very strong, Godzilla can fight any monster or enemy forces using his strength alone, but when it comes time for total destruction, the thermonuclear breath does the job very well. Also, thanks to his super-regenerative ability, it seems that no matter what is thrown at Godzilla, he will always survive. He’s also surprisingly smart. All of this translates to something that can truly be called the "King of the Monsters".
