After being in hiding in relative silence for around ten years Hannibal Lecter makes contact with FBI agent Clarice Starling through a letter. Clarice is in trouble with the FBI after a drugs raid that went wrong and is disillusioned with her job. The only surviving one of Lecters victims, the messed up Mason Verger, saves her career so he can use her to catch Hannibal Lecter and get his revenge. Clarice finds out, after some strange detective work, that Lecter is in Florence, Italy but she hasn’t found him first. An Italian detective has figured him out and his trying to catch him for the reward of Verger. Obviously this is a daft thing to do and the guy is dispatched of in true Lecter fashion
This sorted, Hannibal Lecter goes back to America to see Clarice but is captured by Mason Verger who intends to get his revenge in a rather brutal way involving some very ugly and hungry pigs with big teeth.
Clarice wants to arrest Lecter but doesn't want to let him die in such a way. She manages to rescue him but gets herself shot in the process. Lecter carries her away from danger and sorts out her shoulder (that's were she was shot. She wakes up in a rather revealing dress and realises she's in a house with Lecter. She put's her hand cuffs somewhere on her and goes downstairs after calling the police.
Doctor Lecter knows she has called the police but knows he has about ten minutes before they will arrive. He makes Clarice sit down and prepares dinner in front of her and the other guest, the annoying Paul Krendler. After a rather gruesome scene were Lecter opens up Paul's head, stir fry's some of his brain then feed some to him (Krendler cant feel any of this because he's drugged to hell).
When Lecter wheels Paul of to help him clean up, Clarice follows and tries to stop Lecter escaping. Lecter gets her rammed up against the fridge and traps her hair in the fridge so she cant stop him. After an attempt to get her to come with him that was brushed away by her fairly strongly he gives her a goodbye kiss. He's suprised to find himself cuffed to her when he pulls away. Clarice won't give him the key so he picks up a large, sharp knife. Then after some comments like "above or below the wrist" and "this is really going to hurt" he raises the knife and brings it down. We don't see what happens. The next bit we see is Clarice running out of the house looking for Lecter with two hands. He escapes and we next see him on a plane wearing a sling. Cue the little boy asking to try some of his food which happens to be human brains (yum yum). THE END
