It all starts when Michael kills Joseph in the beginning, where he is inflicted with Thorn...Which means a dark voice tells him to kill his whole family. Thats why he's always after his family members. He'll just keep coming back until he knows his whole family is dead...Which left is, Laurie, and John Tate. Michael's wrath wont stop until their dead, until his whole family is dead. He wont stop until their all dead and he knows it. He'll go high and low just to find his 2 last living family members to kill off. So Michael supposly goes off and goes after Laurie, trying to get to her at any cost.
