The Witch

Michael Williams hiked into the woods outside Burkittsville, MD to film a documentary on the local legend, The Blair Witch.

The students were never heard from again.

One year later, their footage was found.

Four years later, this poem was found...

  • The Witch
    Terrifying, spine-tingling sensations
    Assemble the doom that awaits
    Cold, trembling, and petrified while
    Bizarre arrangements seal their fate
    Tainted youth is stolen away
As she feeds on their fright
    Their vulnerability and innocence
Helps her track them through the night
    Hunted like animals
    Homesick as hell
The dark tangled mess of trees
    Becomes their holding cell
    Anxiously awaiting
    Their unseen demise
    The darkness thickens
And they've never felt so blind
    Hysterical and sobbing
    Yet not aware
    Of ther terror and evil
    That's already there
    No one saw it coming
Until the first child tumbled to the ground
    And nothing was more frightening
Than when their screams were followed by no sound
