This quote clearly shows what the media will do in order to get ratings. Wayne Gale realized how Americans loved Mickey and Mallory Knox, so he took advantage of a bad situation thinking that if he was seen helping them, he would be loved and his show would get ratings. However, Mickey and Mallory realized his intentions and allowed him to help, but then they killed him.
