An Action thriller with all the right moves! NO PUSSIES ALLOWED

RAVAGE

Directed by Ronnie Sortor

When you watch this film, the thought of it being an Independent Film will not even crosas your mind, that's how professionally it was made. The acting and characters were awesome! Specially Dan Rowland's performance as the demented serial killer Charles Darwin who puts all that have come before him to shame. The movie is a cross between a horror and action movie. One of the highlights of Ravage is the gun battles that blast all over the place like the brutal Police Station Massacre led by the very cool and kick ass Lei Rennecks. The blood and violence is outstanding but the story itself is where the backbone is so read on.....

Greg, the man who's been through hell while having his wife commit suicide and then a few years later to only have a serial killer kill his two daughters! He witnesses this all go down in his own house. So now he's bent on revenge. He tracks the killer down with his lady friend Lydia(hehe), what they find out is an extreme plot twist: The serial killer has a twin brother!? Greg hunts the other brother, Samuel who leads a cult of some kind. Greg befriends an Detective Garett who helps him out to find Samuel's hideout where the bloody climax takes place. Ultimately the twin brothers come face to face and everyone else is caught in the middle with shocking results.

Spotlight on Ronnie Sortor...10/08/00

This is my buddy Ronnie Sortor! The guy is a fucking blast to talk to and he's honest and not all pompous like some sucessful indie filmmakers..*coughtoddsheetscough*. I had a chance to Watch his Films Ravage and Sinystre. They weren't shot on film but you couldn't even notice cause the films themselve are just great. Me, personally was inspired. Ronnie has a company Borderline Entertainment which is run by Himself and Todd Reynolds. The company credits include, SINYSTRE, RAVAGE, KITTY KILLERS, LIVING A ZOMBIE DREAM.

A thing that sticks out to me about Borderline is that they're all friends jsut making movies not being too concerned about the money. So all you big shot filmmakers out there who think they're just God's gift to the fucking world can sit the hell done and stuff an egg or some shit because Sortor is God's gift, Well to the Independent film industry anyway.

So be sure to check out his films if you haven't already. In other Sortor news: Ron is currently working on a script for his next film which is to be filmed this time next year. Check out the interview I did with him some time ago in my interview Section.
