The Rules of Cheating:
The Rules of Cheating:
When you're in a committed relationship and have sex with another person...
It's not cheating if you're in different area codes.
It's not cheating if you're too wasted to remember it, because if you can't remember it, it never really took place.
It's not cheating if you're with two people at the same time, because they cancel each other out.
But it is definitely cheating if you videotape it and someone accidentally mails the tape to your girlfriend, which-to his horror-is exactly what happened to Josh.
Discovering the mistake, Josh tows two of his college buddies-and one not-so-eager kid who happens to own the car-on a raucous 1,800-mile road trip from Ithaca, New York to Austin (not Boston), Texas to save his lifelong romance.
Ivan Reitman, the producer of "National Lampoon's Animal House," brings the tradition of the college road trip to the '90s in an outrageous comedy from DreamWorks Pictures and The Montecito Picture Company. "Road Trip" is directed by Todd Phillips, whose "Frat House" won the Grand Jury Prize at the 1998 Sundance Film Festival. Daniel Goldberg and Joe Medjuck produced the film from a screenplay by Todd Phillips and Scot Armstrong. Montecito principals Ivan Reitman and Tom Pollock are the executive producers.
