WITNESS: I don't think they knew we were there, or if they did they didn't care. We were not the focus of their being there, something in that field was....cows maybe.

[WITNESS] Answer: Yes there were cows in the field. I think I mentioned that there cow pastures on both sides of the highway. There were some cows back further from where we were, laying down in the field as I could see their dark shapes, but none up close to us. When the light" came down in the field, I didn't see it illuminate any in particular. I did hear them making a lot of commotion, however, I couldn't see past the "light" when it came down into the field, as it did that in bursts, and the rest of the time it was pretty dark.

You asked if my memory recollection is more vivid now than then, yes, but sometimes I'm not sure if some things I really saw or I dreamt later...its hard to say. For example, when the light "beamed" down into the field it backlit some of the underside of the "craft"....it looked like a dark slate material, like rock almost, and there seemed (this is what I'm not sure of) to be some sort of etchings or maybe written characters around where the light backlit it....I know this sounds funny, but they looked like Hebrew alphabet. I remember saying something to David, my "former", later about that and he, being in ancillary military services, said, "Maybe it's an experimental Israeli aircraft"....but then right after he said, What the hell do they need it that big for? It was very big and I remember thinking as we were laying in the field across the highway watching it how did they make it so big and so silent? As you looked up at it spread out really far, but it was like it had no depth to it, like it was very thin, and we both later were talking about it saying how did they get any people in it to fly it because it seemed so thin depth wise. I have a feeling that was an optical illusion or that the top part of it somehow was not able to be seen, because I do remember thinking that over it you couldn't see any stars and there were a lot of stars out that night. Anyway, yes, there were cows in the field. I don't know what happened to any of them, if anything, as we didn't stay around long enough to find out and truthfully I don't remember thinking anything about the cows getting hurt by it somehow. Although these days when I look back at it, I think now it could have probably been a cattle mutilation scenario, but I don't know....didn't see any of that. It did make a low pulsing kind of hum that seemed to echo in my stomach and I remember feeling sort of nauseated, we were both really scared. I wasn't really thinking about aliens, until afterwards, I was just thinking what the hell was that big thing doing hovering over the field there?

UFOs AND ANGEL HAIR: Someone sent me an e-mail about some white web stuff spread out all over trees, the lake, fence posts, the ground, etc in Kansas *snip* She/he said (that) they (had) went back the next day to take a sample and most of the stuff had disappeared, but there was still some on the barbwire fence post and that's where they collected a bunch in a Mason jar. I wonder if there were any UFO sightings in that area just before it occurred.

[WITNESS] QUESTION:  What did you think of the strange dreams I told you about? Just dreams? Do people who have UFO sightings have strange dreams afterwards?

• THEORY 1). It could have been your bodies way of saying that you needed a really big release...[dreams] are a really good to relieve that tension and stress about that encounter...and healing also.
• THEORY 2). It was your minds way of releasing some of your UFO experience, one piece at a time because. This is the way the mind works to protect you against unpleasant experiences. For example: reliving the whole event would be too much to handle., but a little at a time would be bearable. This is why I am against hypno-therapy. Too much overwhelms the mind, with too much implanted memorization. Very dangerous, even with trained hypno-therapists
