- Review: This movie has a lot of range. In this I mean that I was not born for a while after the time range of this movie, yet I still found it interesting enough that I thought it well worth seeing. While the plot seemed a little bit uninteresting at first, the writers did a great job of shaping it and making it work. Great acting really made the level of this movie rise a couple notches. And the movie dealt with more than a young kid following a rising band. It also deals with relationships, honesty, and a whole wide spectrum of coming of age issues. For once we see a 60's/70's music film not based around drugs and sex, but the actual music itself and what fame can do to a band. Great movies make you feel what the actors feel and empathize with them. This movie does that and yes, this is a great movie.
