• Review: I thought this movie was horrible. I have heard a few people say how great this movie was. I will give Christian Bale credit, he did do a good job in such a bad movie. And the movie does dive into the dark world of materialism. But there was little humor, and the little bit of humor was exremeley dry. The plot just seemed like there was not a difinitive point to it. To me, the movie was dry and very rarely do I say this, but I was praying for this movie to end while at the same time waiting for the scene that would make this movie worth paying $3 to rent. To no avail, that scene never came, and yes, I was relieved when the movie was over.
