- Review: This movie's 5.0 rating is geared towards a younger crowd. This movie is a continuation of Kevin Smith's two previous movies" Chasing Amy and Clerks. Smith has to be one of the funniest writers around today. The plot is pretty good, considering this movie is a comedy and isn't meant to have a deep, meaningful storyline. The actors make this movie, not only in their classic lines, but also through their expressions and physical commedy. The actors that really stand out as being hilarious are Lee, Mewes, and Smith. Thats right, the same man who wrote and directed this movie also had a role as an actor. Oh yeah, and the fact Claire Forlani is in this movie helps its ratings also. I also highly recommend watching this movie twice: once without the commentary, and once with it. The commentary should be as funny, if not funnier, than the movie itself. If you are a young person, I can't see how you won't laugh yourself numb watching this movie. At the same time, this movie will not only be funny for young people today, but it will also be funny for young people many years from now.
