- Review: This movie surprised me. It ended up being a lot better than I had expected. I will admit that I did not have high expectations before watching it, but it was a great surprise. To start with, the movie felt real. You could tell that this movie was not shot on a Hollywood set, but on the real streets in actual dangerous areas, which in itself deserves credit. But add to that the fact that the twists and turns always kept you guessing, and you have to give the writer/director a ton of credit. Add to that Denzel Washington, who makes any movie a success, and some good supporting acting, and you really come out with a good movie. The only thing I didn't care for was the ending. I would have liked to have seen what happens to the characters still standing at the end of the movie. But I can't say much more in a negative light about this film. The great plot, great acting, and great filmmaking keeps the viewer involved at all times.
