HalloweeN: Resurrection is set to be released this summer. It started out as Halloween H2K in 2000, but it was not possible to be released that year, in time for Halloween. It began filming Spring 2001, for a Halloween 2001 release, as Halloween 8: Homecoming. However, extra editing was required, so it is due out next summer. The story basically involves a bunch of kids doing a web broadcast from the Myers house. The script was written by Larry Brand, and was directed by HalloweeN II director, Rick Rosenthal. It will star Busta Rhymes, Tyra Banks, Bianca Kajlich (Boston Public), Sean Patrick Thomas (Save the Last Dance), Daisy McCrackin, Katee Sackhoff, Luke Kirby, Thomas Ian Nicholas, Ryan Merriman, and Brad Loree as the Shape.
