Lil, the bar’s owner, opened Coyote Ugly on January 27, 1993. Looks may be deceiving because if you mess with her, she’ll break your face in. The first week after she opened the bar, someone stole the toilet bowl out of the men’s room. Around the same time, she had to fish a 38 DDD bra out of one of the remaining toilets. Next, Lil’s opening an organic health-food restaurant in Los Angeles. She listens to Johnny Cash, Willie Nelson, Merle Haggard, and George Jones. Which explains the country jukebox in the bar.
